one / masterlist / wattpad
summary: as you adjust to your new life as the Commander's healer, you're forced to watch her fall in love with someone else.
warning/s: mentions of injuries, violence, graphic deaths, the usual stuff that comes with writing for the 100.
author's note: second and final part is here! sorry it’s a little delayed, it’s been a busy one lately! pray i get out of my writing funk bc i miss it so much 😭 anyway, i hope you enjoy this one, i didn’t know how to end it, warning you now lol. Also any mentions of Costia are completely made up based off what i could remember, plus i tried to keep her appearance as vague as possible as she’s technically not got a face claim lol. Enjoy!!
Lexa fell into the role of Commander as if it were her birthright, which I suppose in a way it was.
Nothing fazed her, not the meeting on meeting that filled her days, or the responsibilities now weighing on her shoulders, or even the expectations everyone in the city had for her to be as great a Commander as the last one. She took it all in her stride, performing her duties the best she could. I couldn't have been prouder.
Working with her only made things better for us, since I wasn't sure I'd have seen her as much if I didn't. She was always busy, but she always made time for me. Though she had Titus to go to for guidance, she would still confide in me, a habit I was sure would be difficult to break. I, of course, offered all the help I could. Leading was important to her and she was important to me. What more was there?
It didn't make a difference to me, but clearly Titus thought more of it than I realised. It was a few months into Lexa's new role when he thought to bring it up to me. I was bringing a tray of mine and Lexa's dinner to her quarters one evening, the two of us having planned to eat together, when I saw Titus approaching me in the hall.
"Y/N," he acknowledged with a curt nod and narrowed eyes. "May I speak with you?"
"Right now?" I asked, lifting a brow and glancing at the tray in my hand.
"It won't be long," he assured me, barely giving me chance to reply before he continued, "It's about you and Lexa."
"What about us?"
He seemed mildly irritated as he spoke, "I know that you're a big part of her life, but in the past, you've happened to keep your distance. Now that she's Heda, I expect it to stay that way. No distractions."
I furrowed my brows with confusion. "I'm sorry, I don't follow..."
He tensed his jaw, lowering his voice. "I'm not blind, Y/N. I see the way you care for her."
"Yeah, she's my best friend," I remind him, though a small part of me was nervous at what he was implying.
He wasn't stupid, instead rolling his eyes at my response. "Be sure to keep it that way."
I swallowed hard. "That all?"
"That's all," he said with a hint of annoyance, before walking past me.
My fingers gripped the tray with frustration as I kept walking to Lexa's room. How could he know of my feelings for her? I kept them well hidden for many reasons. And even so, what did he expect from Lexa? To never fall in love? Be married to her work? That was preposterous.
Admittedly, his words had more of an effect on me than I thought, rattling around my brain as I joined Lexa in her quarters.
"...are you alright?" she asked me after accepting her dinner. "You seem distracted."
I blinked, meeting her eyes. It would have been easy to tell her that Titus was being confrontational and rude for no reason. One word and she'd boot him out, no questions asked. But as much as I hated him, he was somewhat good for her, having guided the previous Commander too. Lexa couldn't do this alone, she needed someone with experience. Experience I didn't have. Stirring discontent between them would be for nothing other than a personal vendetta, and a worthless one at that.
No, I couldn't do that.
"Sorry, it's just been a long day," I lied, offering her a small smile. "Bit tired."
"Well, eat your dinner and you can go off to sleep," she said with a soft smile, patting my shoulder.
I nodded, putting her at ease enough for her to dig into her own dinner.
Truthfully, Titus had nothing to worry about. I was too cowardly to make a move anyway.

17 years old...
I should have known it would happen eventually. What was I to expect? That she'd stay single forever?
It didn't make it easier to deal with though, especially because the girl in question was absolutely lovely and I couldn't hate her for any reason other than she was with the girl I loved.
Lexa and I were returning to the Tower from a meeting she had at someone's house in the centre of the city when they met. It was a little busier than usual today because of some sales on produce nearby, so we were manoeuvring our way through the crowd. As we did, Lexa accidentally walked right into an oncoming girl, a bit too harshly than intended, and immediately went to apologise.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I–" she started, steadying the stranger, but she stopped short when she looked up.
"Oh, no, I'm sorry," the girl apologised, smiling softly, and then her eyes met Lexa's, animated and beautiful and captivating Lexa in an instant. "I should've watched where I was going."
I glanced at Lexa, who was entranced, expression softening and mouth slightly open.
"Who are you?" she asked without thinking. "I haven't see you here before."
"My name is Costia," the girl introduced herself, as captivated by Lexa as she was with her. "I'm from Floukru, but I moved here for a change."
Lexa smiled, putting out her forearm respectfully. "It's nice to meet you, Costia. I'm Lexa."
Costia returned her forearm shake, but then realisation crossed her expression. "Wait, Lexa as in Heda Lexa?"
She was about to kneel, but Lexa stopped her with a chuckle, certainly surprising me. She was already infatuated, it was obvious, and I felt uneasy.
"It's okay, there's no need for that," Lexa assured her with sparkling eyes.
Everything about the way she looked at her to the way she couldn't seem to remember I was even here irked me. She liked her, clearly, and I couldn't blame her. Costia was everything I wasn't. She had the complete opposite features to me, a delicate nature about her, and she wasn't afraid to make her attraction to Lexa obvious.
I gave them space, not that they noticed, and my suspicions were confirmed later that evening when Lexa gushed about her crush on this mystery girl, having asked her out when I left.
The jealousy was poisoning me, but I couldn't blame anyone except myself.
It didn't take long for them to officially get together, to my dismay. And because of this, it meant I spent less time with Lexa because she was spending most of her free time with Costia. Titus didn't take this new development any better than I, looking just as bitter as I felt, though for different reasons.
He made it known to me when we were both in the throne room one time, waiting on the side as Lexa had called us in for our counsel on something, but was first finishing her conversation with Costia. I avoided looking their way, resisting the urge to roll my eyes from nothing other than an innate and unfair jealousy. Titus, however, was glaring holes in their direction.
"I don't like this," he mumbled to me.
I sighed. "I bet."
At this, he tore his gaze from them to glare at me. "You weren't this bad."
"Gee, thanks."
He rolled his eyes. "Costia is going to be a massive distraction."
I glanced at him disapprovingly. "She won't. Lexa is happy. Leave her be."
As if annoyed that I didn't disapprove as he did, he scoffed quietly and crossed his arms, continuing to glare at them.
Unlike him, I couldn't hate on their relationship, not even because I was jealous. Costia was lovely, carefree, kind and she made Lexa happier than ever. Plus, she was nothing short of nice to me every time she saw me. How could I hate that?
—
I thought I was finally getting used to them together, but there were still times when I felt like I'd been replaced, as horribly selfish as it sounded.
With the intention of grabbing Lexa for a meeting, I let myself into her room as I always did, but realised she was sat on the bed and Costia was stood over her.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt," I said awkwardly, unsure what I was even interrupting.
As I backed up to leave, Costia stepped to the side to reveal Lexa with war paint swiped across her eyes.
"Doesn't she look daring?" Costia said with a proud smile, paint in her hand.
Despite the bittersweet feeling of it all, I couldn't help but smile at Lexa. "Of course."
Lexa returned my smile and stood up, before saying to Costia, "It was actually Y/N who first put this on for me. When we were kids. And then it just... stuck."
The memory was as fresh as ever, leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, how things had changed since then.
"You had the right idea," Costia told me sweetly, before looking to Lexa with adoration. "It looks great."
I swallowed hard, forcing a smile. As they gazed at each other, I felt like a third wheel and decided to leave.
"What did you need, Y/N?" Lexa called before I could.
"Just grabbing you for the meeting, but I'll meet you in the throne room," I said nonchalantly.
She smiled, nodding. "Okay. See you in a minute."
Deflated, I left. Just another thing to get used to.

19 years old...
The scream was ear-piercing, strained with utter horror and ricocheting off the Tower walls. I woke with a fright, jumping out my skin. I didn't even need to be told – I knew who it was immediately and my heart squeezed into nothingness as I left my bed and hurried down the hall where Lexa's quarters were.
The guards that watched the halls were too slow for my liking, trailing behind me like lost lambs. I took the lead, concerned and confused and uneasy as I pushed her doors open. I feared what I'd find.
Lexa was who I saw first, on the floor in her nightgown as if she'd just gotten out of bed, leaning back on her hands and trembling so much I thought she'd shatter.
"Lexa!" I rushed to her side, kneeling down with worry. "What is it? What's wrong?"
In all my life, I'd never seen her afraid, not like this, and certainly not enough to elicit a scream like she had. What could it be?
I followed her tear-filled gaze, noticing a box at the foot of her bed. Reluctantly, I let go of her and approached the box, and it was a sight I'd never forget.
There sat Costia'a head, lifeless eyes forced open and fresh blood still staining her beheaded neck.
My hand came to my mouth immediately and I looked away, afraid I'd throw up if I didn't. I caught the glaring symbol on the inside of the box though – the symbol of Azgeda, Lexa's biggest enemy – and knew who was responsible.
The guards were just as taken aback as I was, freezing by the door when they noticed the head. Lexa's sobs pulled me from my momentary shock and I immediately looked to the guards with as much confidence as I could muster. They couldn't see their Commander falter like this, not if I could help it.
"What are you waiting for?!" I shouted at them. "Remove this now!" As they jumped at my words, and eventually into action, I continued, "And find out who broke in here last night! Up the security!"
They nodded frantically, carefully taking the box out of there and leaving Lexa and I alone. I returned to her side, where she was still staring at the spot where the box was, glassy eyes widened with horror.
"Lexa, I'm sorry," I said, pulling her in for a hug, hating the way she trembled. "I'm so sorry."
Her sobs were silenced in my shirt and she clutched me so tightly I was sure I'd have bruises, but I didn't care. I was still in utter shock, unable to believe Costia was dead at the hands of Azgeda. I knew we'd had tension with them for a while now, all because their queen didn't trust Lexa in power, but I never thought they'd stoop this low.
Costia deserved better... so did Lexa.
—
She wasn't the same after that. I couldn't blame her. Finding someone you loved, beheaded, at the foot of your bed? When you'd only just kissed them goodnight the night before? It was traumatising. Hell, it still haunted me!
We held a funeral, but Lexa didn't shed another tear after the morning she found her. She was much quieter, much more closed off, as if numb to the whole situation. Even when I visited her after the funeral, concerned for her well-being, she told me to leave. I didn't want to, but maybe space was what she needed, so I obeyed.
There were no leads on how the box was delivered, nor who delivered it. The guards were still searching, making enquiries, but it seemed futile. Horrifyingly enough, Costia's body was never found, so we could only burn the head. It was disgusting, the emotional warfare Azgeda were playing on Lexa.
Costia had nothing to do with any of this, she'd only been unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And it was something Lexa never forgave herself for.
The girl I'd come to know as easygoing and full of life was gone, completely replaced by this shell of a person. At first, she was isolating herself from everyone, only throwing herself into her duties and responsibilities as Heda. It took a long several months for her to fully grieve Costia, for her to finally open up to me again, but she wasn't the same.
I couldn't recall the last time I'd seen her smile or laugh. It was as if her happiness had died with Costia and I understood why, but I hated seeing her like that.
We were in archery practice one day, the two of us sometimes training together like old times. I was growing tired, looking forward to when it would end so we could do something a little more fun.
"Do you wanna go for a swim after this?" I asked her, the idea coming to me at that moment. "In the lake, like we used to?"
She didn't spare a glance my way as she lined up her next shot. "I have more important matters to attend to, Y/N."
"C'mon, it'll be fun," I said encouragingly as she let the arrow fly through the air, finding the centre of the target with ease. "It's warm out and the lake will be refreshing."
"No," she said simply, going to collect her arrow.
I sighed quietly, watching her with a concerned gaze. Gently, I spoke, "Look, I know it's been hard, but I'm here for you and I think that, maybe, not working as hard might make this–"
"What?" she interrupted harshly, finally looking at me, though with a fiery glare. I jumped at volume of her voice, not expecting it. "Easier? How? How can it be easier when Azgeda are plotting to overthrow me every single day? How will a dip in the lake fix that?!"
I swallowed awkwardly, unsure what to say. It felt stupid now.
"We're not kids anymore," she reminded me with a sneer.
I frowned. "I know. Sorry. I don't mean–"
"You're forgiven," she cut me off, looking away with a clenched jaw. "End of discussion."
I chewed on the inside of my cheek as she returned to her stance before the target, lining up another shot. And just like that, we were back to archery.

21 years old...
It was supposed to be a simple rescue mission. In and out of Azgeda's prison camps, rescuing our people and leaving before they'd even notice.
But everything went wrong when they caught us escaping.
Arrows were flying, swords were wielded and, in the midst of chaos, I saw that a few of our own were struck down. We needed to leave, fast.
Those of us who could mounted their horses, prisoners with them, and raced out of there whilst a few stayed back to buy us time. Lexa was one of them, mounting her horse and taking a few of Azgeda's soldiers out on the way. I was close behind, the last of our party to leave, and pushed my horse as fast as I could. Unfortunately for me, before I could even make it out of the snowy lands of Azgeda's territory, a loose arrow caught my horse's front leg and I went flying forward as a result.
The wind was knocked from me as I landed face first in the snow, the cold already seeping through my clothes and my whole body aching from the fall. But I couldn't stay put for long, already hearing someone on my tail.
It took me a lot of effort to push myself off the ground, finding my sword which had luckily not impaled me on the fall. As soon as I turned around, I saw one of the Azgeda prison guards hurtling towards me, his own sword raised as he let out a battle cry. I held my ground, grip tightening on my sword, and immediately blocked his swing as he came at me.
Luckily for me, my sword fighting had much improved over the years, mostly due to Lexa's constant need for training, and it aided me in this fight as I blocked every swing from my opponent. He was large and strong, albeit slow, so at my best opportunity, I parried his swing and used the power of it to go around him, stabbing him through the back.
A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I yanked my sword out, watching him collapse in the snow. My success was short lived however, as I heard barking from behind me and turned around a second too late. A wild dog – one of the ones the Azgeda army trained for battle – raced through the trees and leapt on me, going straight for my leg.
I screamed as its sharp teeth sunk right into my calf, at the orders of its owner who was approaching us but only watching as I struggled. Instinctively, I swung my sword, but the dog was merely inconvenienced, moving back to bark at me before leaping at me again. This time, I was knocked backwards into the snow, dropping my sword. It reattached its teeth to my leg, piercing flesh and bone and oblivious to my weak attempts at kicking it away. I felt like I couldn't breathe, the pain too strong to even acknowledge.
Suddenly, an arrow flew through the air, landing right in the dog's head and killing it instantly. It didn't matter to me though – my leg felt like it was in tatters and I was starting to see spots in my vision. Not even the cold of the snow was a bother to me anymore – I could have been dipped in fire at that moment and known no difference.
"Y/N!" someone shouted after me.
My people had returned, dismounting their horses as they fought off the Azgeda stragglers, including that wretched dog's owner.
Lexa was with them, having come back to my aid. She let her people deal with the remaining Azgeda soldiers, instead coming to my side with a concerned look. Her eyes glanced between me and my leg and, judging from her expression, it wasn't great.
"I need help over here!" she yelled to her solders.
Two members of our party rushed to my side, attempting to carry me, but even the slightest bit of movement had me screeching in agony.
"Be gentle!" Lexa ordered, and they were suddenly less rough. She took my hand, squeezing it gently. "You're gonna be okay. We're going home."
All I could manage was a weak nod, tears burning my eyes.
We must have made it back to Polis, though I couldn't be sure it was without disruption as I passed out not long after they placed me on a horse.
When I awoke, I recognised the healer's room at the Tower, though it felt strange being the one in the bed rather than the healer. I couldn't remember why I was here, still in a daze, and then I heard a sigh of relief and looked to my right to see Lexa standing up, touching my cheek with relief.
It was unusual seeing the tears down her cheeks and her red, puffy eyes staring down at me. She hadn't cried this much since Costia died years ago. Was I hurt that bad?
"What happened?" I asked tiredly, not quite adjusting to the aches and pains in my body.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," she said with a watery voice. "I should've got to you sooner."
Got to me sooner...?
And then it came back to me. Our people. Azgeda. The dog. My leg.
My eyes widened as I put Lexa's words together with what I remembered and then I was quick to try and sit up to see if my leg was okay, but Lexa tried to stop me.
"Y/N, just wait–"
"Let go!" I shouted, shoving her off long enough to finally see what I feared.
My lower left leg was gone. All that remained was a bloody, bandaged stump, ending at my knee. I could barely believe what I was looking at, eyes watering at the sight.
"It was the only way," she said regretfully. "It was badly infected and the bites were too deep. They couldn't save it."
Her words went in one ear and out the other. All I could see was the spot where my leg used to be.
"It's gone," I whispered, voice trembling.
Her hand rested on my shoulder gently. "Y/N..."
I touched my knee and then the spot after it, where my calf should've been. And then I felt something break inside of me and the tears finally fell.
Lexa sat beside me, pulling me into her chest and holding me tightly. "It's okay. You're okay. I'm here."
But it wasn't okay, was it? Nothing was okay.
—
The next few days were some of the hardest I'd endured.
Lexa stayed by my side the whole time, only leaving to bring me food or see the healers looking after me. I couldn't bear to look at her, nor my father, who stopped by regularly too.
Everything was so futile to me. Without my leg, I would never walk the same again. And how would I continue to be a combat medic if I couldn't even stand? How could I work at Lexa's side? I was useless. And I couldn't stand it.
My feelings left me in a pit of depression, my appetite gone and my will to recover completely absent. I couldn't see a future where I'd feel like myself again, and no matter who was there to support me, I refused their help.
I was sulking yet again, staring at the wall and soaking in my own misery since there was nothing else to do. Lexa had left to get me some food and, truthfully, I was glad. Her constant worrying and fretting at my side was doing nothing to help.
The logical part of me was grateful she cared, but the emotional part won over and I seriously hated having her around right now, not when I couldn't think straight about anything other than my missing leg.
My momentary peace was interrupted when Lexa returned, tray of food in hand which she set on the table beside my bed.
"It's time to eat something, Y/N," she said softly, hand resting on my hand, but I snatched it away.
Ignoring her, I continued to stare at the wall ahead, void of feeling.
"Y/N, please, you have to eat," she said, unfazed by my mood.
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes as I purposely looked to the left, away from her, hoping she'd get the hint. Of course, she didn't.
"Don't be like that," she said, a little sterner this time, and it infuriated me because why couldn't I be like that? Who was she to tell me otherwise?
"I can do what I want," I snapped at her with a glare. "I'm not hungry, so just leave me alone already."
Her lips twitched into a slight frown, but she didn't move. "You're not going to get better if you don't eat," she said firmly.
"Get the damn hint and go away! I don't need your help!" I said bitterly.
She swallowed hard, green eyes flickering between mine with an unreadable expression, before leaving the room. I glared a hole into the space where she left, eyes burning with tears, and was overcome by an immediate guilt.
It was easier to push her away now, as much as it hurt to do so. At least this way she wouldn't notice how much of a burden I would become. Cripples had no place working under the Commander, best friend or not. And I wasn't sure I could handle being fazed out by Lexa in time.
Despite how awful the whole situation was, I couldn't bring it in myself to face her. She tried to return after my outburst, but I made sure Nyko refused her entry. I was surprised it worked, considering she was the Commander and could do whatever she wanted. She still found her way back in over the course of the next week, but I continued to ignore her, wanting her to lose interest on her own and stop visiting me.
I should have known trying to get Lexa to do anything was impossible though, as when she showed up once more, ignoring my request through Nyko to leave me alone, she had a whole speech prepared.
"I said I didn't want to see you," I mumbled tiredly upon noticing her walk in without warning.
She ignored me and stopped by my bed. "You don't get to request that."
I rolled my eyes, my usual self-deprecating attitude written all over my face. But unlike the past few weeks, she wasn't accepting it anymore.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" she suddenly shouted, surprising me.
I finally looked to her, surprised to see her shooting me a fiery glare.
"I almost lost you, don't you see that?" she continued, giving me no chance to respond. "I watched you bleed all over the bed as they assessed the damage. Watched as you came to and from consciousness, as they cut off your leg. They thought you were going to die from the blood loss. And now you're okay and what? You're pushing me away?! For what? Pride?!"
I pressed my lips together, tensing my jaw, face hot with shame and self-pity.
"Well, I refuse," she said decisively. "I'm staying and you can't get rid of me. No matter how many times you try to tell Nyko."
Even as I closed my eyes, I could feel tears welling up. Why was she so stubborn?
Her voice cracked as she continued, "They're moving you back to your room tomorrow."
I looked away, unsure what to say, and then she took my hand between hers and I couldn't bring it in myself to pull away. Admittedly, I craved the comfort, though I didn't deserve it. Not after how I'd treated her.
"I'm not leaving your side," she repeated, less angry and more concerned.
It only reminded me why I was acting like this in the first place.
"For now," I said, voice hoarse.
She blinked. "What?"
Narrowing my eyes, I finally looked to her, speaking more clearly. "For now. You'll be here for now and then you'll get busy with Heda responsibilities, and then you'll realise I can't work with you anymore because I can't even walk. And then you'll get busier and busier and realise I'm just a damned burden and then you'll leave. And I won't blame you one bit, but it'll happen."
Her expression softened. "How can you say that?"
Embarrassed, I let go of her hand and wiped away a stray tear, looking away. "Because it's true. We're not kids anymore, remember? You don't owe me a thing."
"You're such a fool."
I scoffed, crossing my arms. How could she say that when she'd spent the last few years an emotionless wreck because of Costia's death, only ever putting her job first?
"No, you are," she disagreed. "You think I'd just push you away like that?"
"Yes," I said simply, looking down at my bed covers. "Love is weakness. Isn't that what you've been saying?"
"I thought that," she admitted, "but it's not. Not with you."
I rolled my eyes.
"I thought I lost you and I didn't," she said gently, considerately. "That's worth something. Because..." She paused, hesitant, then continued, "...because I'm in love with you."
She said it so nonchalantly that I had to truly digest her words, and even then I couldn't believe them.
With disbelief, I glanced at her. "What?"
She was trembling slightly, surprising me, and began to nod. Her eyes were glassy as they met mine. "I am. I can't lose you too."
For a moment, I saw the old Lexa, the one who I'd known most of my life, before Azgeda ruined her, and it broke my heart.
"Lexa...," I started, but didn't know what to say.
"You're not a burden," she told me with certainty. "Those one love never are."
I struggled to find words, heart beating exceptionally fast as she maintained eye contact. She loved me? After all this time, the girl I fell in love with loved me too? What?
"Please don't say I've ruined everything," she whispered, hopeless.
Remembering to move, I quickly shook my head, though my mind was still reeling. "You haven't. You–"
She cut me off with a kiss, pressing her lips to mine eagerly. She kissed me like she'd been waiting to forever, hands curling around my face and nose brushing against mine as she tilted her head to the side. I kissed her back, melting into her with ease and acutely aware of how perfect she felt against me.
I still couldn't catch up to what was happening, not even as she pulled back slightly, breathless and meeting my gaze. She didn't speak, as if waiting for my reaction before she could do anything.
"Are you sure?" was all I could say, stunned.
She nodded slowly.
I licked my lips. "Good. Because I'm in love with you too, Lexa."
Her lips curved into a small smile, eyes darting between mine, before she kissed me again.

in your canon au, say Lexa lets loose and gets drunk and extra cuddly. And she’s more vocal to Clarke about how attractive she is and how much she loves her. How does Clarke react to that seeing her be so free and be young for the first time?
Ya know... I actually think a drunk Lexa would be very mushy.
Cuddly, yes. Handsy and smoochy, yes.
I think if she ever allowed herself to be tipsy in public she'd never be anything but proper, if not a little more subdued. Sat a little lazier in her throne. Relaxed back and legs spread with that cocky air of swagger she gets about her. Probably a half grin constantly twitching juuuust at the edges of her lips. Nothing beyond that. Still entirely dignified and in command of her faculties.
But alone?
I think if Lexa allowed herself to overindulge alone in her room with Clarke, I think the more romantic and dreamy side of Lexa would come out mingled in among her normal poise of Heda. A coin constantly flipping from moment to moment. A demure and elegant smile here, a wine sodden giggle there - all bunny toothed and deliciously silly. All hazy bedroom eyes and low hung lashes dotted with warm, mushy kisses to the hinge of Clarke's jaw. Those big juicy lips stained red from berry wine constantly half pursed in drunken thought. Asking Clarke for thoughts on the clans and what she thinks of Earth, what's her favorite old world poet and ever more stories about life among the stars.
Just because, "Even when you're angry with me, I enjoy listening to you speak."
Which is... not exactly the most romantic thing a person can say, but coming from Lexa, there's always a deeper truth buried in her words. Lexa is always saying something, even when she's not saying much at all.
And it's in that understanding that moments when Lexa would do something as careless as let herself have a few drinks too many, and become more open and vocal, that would make everything she says and does hit even harder. All the thoughtless kisses and the not-so-mindless trailing of her fingers along Clarke's palm. The murmurings of how beautiful Clarke is, how sexy she is when she's... well, doing anything. Leading her people, brokering peace, eating, yawning, sleeping. When she pulls Clarke close under the furs of her bed and whispers in a kiss against Clarke's ear that she had thought she'd never get to feel this again. That after losing Costia, she'd forced herself to accept that she'd always sleep alone. That she'd forced herself to prefer it.
But she doesn't miss sleeping alone...
Because Clarke is pretty, and funny in all the ways Lexa doesn't believe that she is, and that she feels more like herself with Clarke pressed against her ribs.
And I just think Clarke would feel... strong. I think she'd feel strong in those moments. Because so much of her life is obligation and weighed down by her people and her responsibility, but this is different. Being responsible for - being trusted to protect and care for - a drunkly handsy and romantically attentive Lexa isn't complicated. Not when she's honest with herself. It's not another obligation. It's getting to be with Lexa when she's vulnerable, when she's just being Lexa. It's getting to hear how that complex brain of hers works, and all those inner thoughts being as close to unfiltered as Lexa ever gets. I mean what can she do when those big doe eyes are blinking at her from half a pillow away as Lexa whispers that she didn't know love could feel like this?
What can she do other than fall for her harder?
#anon#in secret au#imagine a tipsy Lexa telling Clarke that she'd hoped Clarke would take a nap with her in her tent that evening before the mountain#gay loser#every time Clarke suggests a nice nap together after that night Lexa would 100% just 😐😒

This part may suck BUT I am slowly trying to get back into the story so skim through this and don't be mean.
You stared up at the endless blue sky, watching the clouds slowly drift by as the earth continued its endless orbit. The faint smell of burning metal filled your nose as a gentle breeze ruffled your hair. ‘I wonder if they'll ever find us down here,’ you thought, your hopes fading with each passing minute.
Around you, the search party members shouted to one another, their voices echoing off the mountainsides as they frantically pushed aside debris.
‘She can’t be dead. She hated me but she would never leave me like this. Why did I have to try to prove myself? Please come back...please,’ you silently pleaded, even as your weary body begged for rest.
Clarke mirrored your determined attitude, the dark circles on her face were more prominent in the bright sun while she meticulously scoured the debris strewn across the mountain.
Every step brought you closer to Clarke, her gaze fixed on some viscous liquid oozing from a ruptured container amidst the rubble.
"Clarke," you called out softly, she turned to face you reluctantly meeting your gaze. "What’s wrong?" you asked, your curiosity piqued by the sight before you.
Without a word, Clarke gestured toward the oozing liquid, her expression troubled. You followed her gaze, crouching down as you took in the scene before you. The pink liquid dripping to the ground, its pungent odor assaulted your senses, causing you to recoil instinctively.
Suddenly, Clarke's voice shattered the tense silence, her cry of "Oh!" echoing through the desolate landscape. Raven reacted swiftly, sprinting up the slope to join you both.
Her eyes were wide with concern as she assessed the situation, her sharp mind already racing to decipher the cause of Clarke's distress.
"Y/n, stop! Get away from there" Raven shouted as she reached your side. You both turned to Raven, her expression a mix of shock and disbelief. "Rocket fuel?" Clarke questioned.
Raven nodded grimly, her features drawn tight with concern. "Hydrazine... Highly unstable in its non-solid form. If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist."
“Suddenly I don’t think that would be too bad.” You started, recovering from your crouched position beside Clarke. She shot you a sideways glance. "Are you serious?" Raven huffed with disbelief as she struggled to comprehend your words.
"Watch this," Raven declared as she reached for a nearby object. “Fire in the hole!” You and Clarke ducked for cover as Raven hurled it toward the pink liquid with a swift toss, the impact causing a small explosion that sent debris flying in all directions.
The explosion was deafening, and the heat was intense, but you couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as the rocket fuel burned away.
Bellamy's commanding voice reached your ears, “We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot. We've got to get back before dark," he bellowed like a clarion call to action.
Without hesitation, the group began to fall in line, their movements synchronized and purposeful as they prepared to venture back into the woods. You remained rooted to the spot for a moment longer, your eyes scanning the debris-strewn landscape one final time.
As you lingered amidst the wreckage, lost in thought, you felt a presence at your side. Bellamy had come up beside you, "that means you too, Hestia," he remarked, his voice softer now, laced with a hint of affection.
You couldn't help but smile at the nickname. "Just taking one last look," you replied, turning to face him. His soft eyes met yours, filled with warmth.
"We'll find her," he said, squeezing your shoulder reassuringly. "But not if you work yourself to exhaustion. Come on, let's head back." You nodded, allowing him to guide you away from the wreckage.
His hand dropped to the small of your back. He was right - you had been pushing yourself too hard. But you wouldn't stop looking until your mother was found.
Glancing back over your shoulder, you silently made that promise once more. Bellamy's hand pressed more firmly against you, as if he had heard your unspoken words.
…
Your heart pounded against your ribcage as you pushed your way through the throng of people. The air hung heavy with the oppressive heat of the sun, the stench of sweat and dirt permeating your nostrils. Bellamy walked ahead of the group, shoulders tense and his head held high while the rest of the group trailed behind.
As you approached the gate, the commotion grew louder, the voices rising in pitch with each step you took. The gate creaked open with a deafening squeal, and Octavia emerged, her eyes wide with fear.
She swallowed thickly before rushing forward, “Bellamy...” she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.
You pushed your way towards the front where Clarke and Bellamy stood, “Octavia whats wrong?” you demanded. The three of you shared a look as everyone waited for her to speak. “We found something bell. Its in the dropship.”
With that, Octavia turned and headed back inside, guiding the three of you into the ship. The camp's stragglers dispersed around the perimeter, their voices fading into the distance. You followed closely behind Octavia as she ascended the metal ramp, the sound of her heavy footsteps echoing through the cavernous interior.
Once you reached the top, Octavia pushed back the plastic tarp covering the entrance, your breath caught in your throat at the sight that met your eyes.
John Murphy lay slumped against a wall, his once-blond hair matted with dried blood. His eyes were closed, his face covered in an excessive amount of cuts and dirt.
You and Octavia exchanged a grim look. Murphy had always been a thorn in everyone's side, but he didn't deserve this. “Everyone but Connor and Derek out... Now!" Bellamy emphasized
"We caught him trying to sneak back into camp," Connor stated, his voice low but firm, eyes narrowed as he assessed Murphy's reaction.
Murphy's jaw clenched, his gaze flickering briefly towards Bellamy before returning to Connor. "I wasn't sneaking," he retorted, his tone sharp with frustration. "I was running from the Grounders."
Bellamy, arms crossed over his chest, stepped forward, his expression unreadable in the dim light. "Anyone see Grounders?" he questioned, his voice a blend of skepticism and curiosity.
Connor shook his head, his eyes darting around the cramped space of the dropship as if searching for any sign of the elusive enemy.
"Well, in that case--" Bellamy began, lifting his rifle at Murphy before you began to panic, placing yourself between Bellamy and Murphy.
Your gaze flickered nervously between the two men, uncertainty clouding your features as you struggled to find the words to intervene.
Murphy's fate hung in the balance, and though you knew his actions had been reckless and foolish, there was a nagging voice in the back of your mind urging you to spare him.
"Wait," you interjected, your hands trembled at your sides, fingers curling into fists as you searched desperately for a reason, any reason, to convince Bellamy to show mercy. Bellamy's gaze softened slightly; his expression thoughtful as he considered your words.
"We were clear what would happen if he came back," Bellamy reiterated, his tone firm, uncompromising.
You took a shaky breath, summoning all your courage as you spoke, your voice steadier now, but still laced with uncertainty. "We... we don't know the full story," you ventured, your words hesitant but earnest. "Maybe... maybe there's more to it than we realize."
Clarke's voice sliced through the tension that had settled over the group like a sharp blade. "No," she declared, Clarke stood tall, her stance resolute, her eyes locking with Bellamy's in a silent challenge. "Y/n is right."
The soft glow of the flickering firelight illuminated her features, casting a warm, golden hue across her determined expression.
Bellamy's jaw tensed, his gaze bore into hers, as he bristled at Clarke's assertion. "Like hell he is," he retorted, his tone laced with frustration. "Clarke, think about Charlotte."
You couldn't stay silent, not when the memory of Wells's death still lingered like a specter in the shadows of their minds. "We are thinking about Charlotte," you interjected, your voice cutting through the charged atmosphere with a bitter edge. "Or did you forget what she did to Wells?"
Clarke knelt down beside him, her fingers grasping Murphys hand, she flexed It back and forth. “He's not lying,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “His fingernails were torn off. They tortured him."
Bellamy hesitated, torn between his sense of duty and the gnawing doubt that tugged at his conscience. Finally, with a resigned sigh, he relented, his shoulders slumping in reluctant agreement.
"Fine," he conceded, his voice heavy with resignation. "But if this goes wrong, it's on you." His gaze flickered toward Murphy, lingering for a moment before shifting back to Clarke and you.
…
“You need to practice shooting, Y/n. After yesterday, we can’t take any more chances with these grounders,” Bellamy insisted.
“And what if I don’t want to?” you challenged, a hint of defiance in your voice.
“I wasn’t giving you a choice,” he replied back just as fast, his words leaving no room for argument. You hid your giddy smile behind your hand as you followed Bellamy and the group to the makeshift shooting practice area.
Miller and Monroe lined up the empty ration cans, preparing for the practice. Clarke strutted over to join the group, picking up a gun and readying herself for the competition.
Sensing the competitive energy in the air, you accepted the challenge without a thought.
"On the count of three, I want you guys to start," Bellamy announced, his voice cutting through the chatter. You nodded in reply, feeling the weight of the rifle against your shoulder as you lined up your shot.
“One, two... three,” Bellamy counted, and with precision, you fired at the first tin. It flew back off the log with a satisfying thud to the ground.
Swiftly, you moved on to the next target, hearing Clarke finish her second shot. You took aim at the third can, your senses heightened as adrenaline surged through your veins.
Two shots sounded in quick succession, echoing through the clearing. Both you and Clarke hit the targets with pristine accuracy. The group cheered in approval. “Who needs men when you have us?” You joked to Clarke, gaining a big smile from her for the first time today.
shouts and cries rang out from the perimeter. "Clarke! Where's Clarke?" Connor's voice, hoarse with desperation, his words punctuated by fits of coughing. The sound sent a shiver down your spine, the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end.
Clarke's brow furrowed in concern as she moved towards his voice, "Connor?"
"It won't stop," Connor's voice drifted through the air, strained and ragged, each word punctuated by the gut-wrenching sound of his coughs.
"Clarke! What's happening?" Raven's voice joined the chorus of cries, her tone frantic with worry. Your breath caught in your throat as you witnessed the sight that greeted Clarke's eyes.
Horror washed over you like a tidal wave, threatening to engulf you in its icy grip. "Oh, my God, Clarke, your eyes," you gasped, the words tumbling from your lips in a hushed whisper.
You moved instinctively to approach her, to offer whatever comfort and support you could in the face of such a devastating revelation. But Clarke's hand shot out, a silent barrier that pushed you and Raven away with unexpected force.
Her eyes, once bright and vibrant, now held a haunted emptiness that sent a shiver down your spine. The color seemed to have drained from them, leaving behind only a dull, lifeless gaze that spoke volumes of the horrors she had witnessed.
…
Clarke's hurried footsteps echoed against the metal floor of the dropship as she entered, her senses on high alert, her eyes scanning the room with an intensity that made your heart race. You followed closely behind, the weight of worry pressing down on you like a leaden cloak.
Murphy's presence loomed in the corner of the room, his figure tense and apprehensive as he attempted to blend into the shadows, a futile effort to evade Clarke's keen gaze. The air crackled with tension as she approached him.
"Murphy, hey, look at me," Clarke's voice was soft yet firm, cutting through the silence like a knife. She reached out, her hand gently gripping his shoulder as she sought to anchor him in the midst of his mounting panic.
Murphy's gaze flickered nervously, his muscles tensing beneath her touch as he met her unwavering stare. "I need you to tell me exactly how you escaped from the Grounders," Clarke continued, her voice steady despite the turmoil swirling within her. "What happened?"
Murphy swallowed hard, shifting his weight uneasily. "I don't know," he admitted, his words coming out in a rush as if he were desperate to convince her of his innocence. "I woke up, and they forgot to lock my cage. There was no one there, so I took off."
Clarke's brow furrowed in confusion, a hint of skepticism creeping into her expression as she processed Murphy's explanation. The pieces of the puzzle seemed to shift and blur before her eyes, leaving her grasping at fragments of truth in a sea of uncertainty.
"Bellamy, stay back," you urged, your voice tinged with urgency as you moved to position yourself between him and the infected. Bellamy's brow furrowed in confusion, his gaze flickering between you and Murphy as he struggled to make sense of the situation. "Did he do something to you?" he questioned, gripping the rifle tighter in his hands.
You shook your head. "What the hell is this?" Bellamy demanded, his tone edged with frustration as he glared at Clarke, searching for answers in the depths of her haunted gaze.
"Biological warfare," Clarke stated, wiping her hands down her face in distress. “You were waiting for the Grounders to retaliate for the bridge? This is it. Murphy is the weapon." Bellamy's eyes widened in disbelief, the realization seemed to hit him like a physical blow, his shoulders slumping in defeat.
Clarke's revelation settled over the dropship like a suffocating blanket, a heavy silence descended upon the room, punctuated only by the sound of their ragged breathing.
Suddenly, the world seemed to blur around you, the edges of your vision blurring as if obscured by a thick fog. Your senses swam in a dizzying whirlpool, the world tilting precariously on its axis as you struggled to maintain your balance.
A bead of sweat trickled down your forehead, tracing a path down your flushed cheeks as the heat of the moment pressed in upon you like a tangible force. Your breath came in ragged gasps, your chest rising and falling with each shaky inhale.
With trembling limbs, you moved away from the group, climbing the narrow ladder of the dropship's interior. Your breath came in ragged gasps, the air thin and suffocating as you ascended to the third floor. Finally reaching the top, you stumbled into the cramped space of the third floor, the dim light casting long shadows across the metal floor.
Alone at last, the tears flowing freely from your eyes as you collapsed to the floor. Your knees cracked uncomfortably beneath the weight of your body. The tears mingled with the blood that trickled from your eyes.
you let out a choked sob, the sound echoing in the empty space around you. The tears continued to fall, unchecked and unbidden, as you surrendered to the overwhelming despair that threatened to engulf you.
"Will you stop crying?" it scoffed, dripping with disdain. Your eyes snapped open, scanning the empty expanse of the room in search of the face behind the voice.
But there was nobody there, just the echo of the words hanging in the air like a ghostly whisper. Confusion clouded your thoughts as you shook your head, trying to dispel the illusion that had taken hold of your mind.
A sudden weight settled on your shoulder, causing you to gasp in surprise. A hand, firm yet comforting, pressed against your trembling form.
Slowly, you turned your head, your heart pounding in your chest as you prepared to face the unknown presence behind you. And there, standing before you, was Diana Sydney, your mother.
The sight of her sent a jolt of shock through your system. Her hair was no longer the blonde that you once envied, once a shimmering cascade of blonde, was now charred and matted, wisps of smoke still clinging to the strands.
And her skin, once flawless and porcelain, was marred by angry red burns accompanied by the smell of char.
“Mom.” you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper as you reached out tentatively, as if afraid she would vanish into thin air at the slightest touch. For a moment, you simply stared at each other, the silence between you heavy with unspoken emotions.
The sudden sharpness of the voice shattered the fragile moment like glass, snapping you back to reality. "Do you ever shut up, y/n?"
"No," you replied. "I don't."

👻 Spooky Season is here 👻
There once was a Gh0st...
When Lexa returned to Militech in 2087 she used their resources to build her very own combat/killing robot. She didn't keep that a secret and allthough her brother David, who was also her boss, wasn't too thrilled with this murderous machine around, he let her do her thing anyway.
He thought that robot might be a good idea, as long as it kept her safe outside of Militech. They spent a lot of money and resources on Lexa and she wasn't a Netrunner, who just sat in Militech's basement while other's did the dirty work. Especially when she went against Arasaka.
What David and no other knew was that it wasn't Lexa who controlled that robot. It was Typhon, who no one even knew existed in her. She gave him full control of this machine.
Typhon was her backup, her safety net. Someone no one could control except her and who would defend her with everything.
Lexa kept his existince a secret, just in case Militech tried anything funny with her. She knew who she was dealing with after all.
And two years later in the end of 2079, Militech painfully learned of Typhon's existence.
Want to know why Lexa returned to Militech? ➡ Click here please. (allthough i need to make some changes since Typhon is in the picture now)
Want to know who Typhon is? ➡ Click here please.
#Cyberpunk 2077#Rosa's OCs: Lexa (V)#Virtual Photography#I think she deserves her personal killer robot#Especially in those times#And just imagine these two coming after you...#Ask Arasaka - That's not fun#Her Maelstrom self would be very proud...

The Prisoner Pickup
Lexa sat in her car, her fingers drumming a soft rhythm on the steering wheel. The massive gate loomed ahead, stark and imposing under the midday sun. The surrounding area was silent, the only sound the occasional rustling of leaves in the breeze.
Her eyes were fixed on the gate, watching intently for any sign of movement. It seemed lifeless, with no guards patrolling the perimeter and no vehicles coming or going. Lexa's heart raced, the weight of anticipation pressing heavily on her chest.
Lexa adjusted her rearview mirror, scanning the empty road behind her. No one else seemed to be around except for her. She glanced at her watch, the minutes ticking by slowly, each second feeling like an eternity.
Her thoughts drifted as she shifted in her seat, trying to find a more comfortable position. She reached for a bottle of water in the cup holder, taking a sip to calm her nerves. The cool liquid did little to ease the knot in her stomach. She knew that at any moment, that gate might open.
As the minutes dragged on, Lexa kept her vigil, her eyes never leaving the gate. She was prepared, ready to step out of the car at any moment.
Lexa's phone rang, breaking the tense silence in the car. She glanced at the screen and saw Anya's name flashing. With a sigh, she picked up the call, pressing the phone to her ear.
"Hey, Anya," Lexa greeted.
"Hey yourself," Anya said, her voice questioning. "Where are you at?"
Lexa hesitated for a moment, then answered, "I'm at the prison."
"What the fuck are you doing at the prison?" Anya's voice was a combination of shock and concern.
"I'm picking up a prisoner," Lexa replied calmly, her eyes still fixed on the gate.
"A prisoner?" Anya voice rose. "What fucking prisoner?"
"The one I agreed to pick up," Lexa said, her tone even. She could almost picture Anya's furrowed brow and wide eyes.
"What the fuck are you talking about, Lexa?" Anya asked, disbelief lacing her words.
Lexa took a deep breath. "I heard you could pick up a prisoner, and you know, being the first omega they've seen in a while..."
"Wait, wait," Anya interrupted, her voice rising. "Are you serious right now? You're telling me you’re picking up some random prisoner just because you're the first omega they've seen in forever? What are you thinking? You're picking up a prisoner to get laid?"
Before Lexa could respond, she noticed movement at the gate. People were walking out of a door, heading towards the exit. "Anya, I have to go," Lexa said quickly. "I'll call you back later."
"Lexa, wait—" Anya started, but Lexa had already ended the call and placed her phone back in the cup holder. She took a deep breath, her eyes locked on the group approaching the gate, ready to see this through.
Lexa glanced down at the paper she held in her hand, the crisp white sheet stark against the dull interior of her car. The prisoner's name and description were clearly printed: Clarke Griffin, female alpha, blonde hair, blue eyes. The crime listed was embezzlement. She frowned slightly, wondering why the mugshot hadn't been available. It seemed odd, but she figured it wasn't her problem to worry about at this point.
Her eyes flicked back to the gate, watching the small group as they drew closer. Lexa scanned each face, searching for the one that matched the description. She couldn't shake the feeling of nervousness that had settled in her stomach.
Picking up a prisoner under such vague circumstances wasn't exactly ideal, but the potential payoff made it worth the risk. If she didn't like Clarke, she could always drop her off at her destination and head on her way. It wasn't like she had made any promises beyond the initial pick-up.
The sun beat down, casting harsh shadows that made it hard to see clearly. Lexa squinted, trying to make out the details of the approaching figures. As the group reached the gate, one figure stood out. Average height, with a confident stance, tousled blonde hair catching the sunlight, and piercing blue eyes that seemed to take in everything. Lexa's heart skipped a beat. This had to be Clarke Griffin. She took a deep breath, steadying herself for whatever came next.
She opened her car door and stepped out, the paper still clutched in her hand. As she walked towards the front of her car, she rehearsed what she would say, keeping her demeanor calm and confident. No matter what, she had to see this through. Maybe this crazy plan would actually work out, and she'd find herself with more than just a prisoner to drop off.
Lexa watched as the gate slowly creaked open, a guard stepping aside to let Clarke Griffin walk out. Clarke's appearance was a stark contrast to the confident description Lexa had imagined. She wore a baggy pair of scrub bottoms and a plain t-shirt, the loose fabric hanging awkwardly on her frame. On her feet were those horrible Croc shoes, adding an almost comical touch to her otherwise serious demeanor.
Lexa had been warned that most prisoners didn't have street clothes, so she had prepared by bringing along some sweatpants and a sweatshirt just in case. They rested neatly folded in her arms, a small gesture of consideration for Clarke’s comfort.
As Clarke walked towards her, Lexa felt a strange tension in the air. Clarke’s piercing blue eyes seemed to be sizing her up, evaluating every detail with a calm, methodical gaze. Despite the unflattering attire, there was an undeniable strength in the way Clarke carried herself, a glimmer of the alpha presence Lexa had been expecting.
When Clarke reached her, Lexa extended the bundle of clothes. "I brought you these," she said, her voice steady. "I figured you might need something more comfortable."
Clarke glanced at the sweatpants and sweatshirt, then back at Lexa, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "Thanks," she said simply, taking the clothes. She shifted her weight, the Crocs making a faint squeaking sound on the pavement.
Lexa couldn't help but smile slightly. "I didn't think about shoes," she admitted. "But if things go well, we can get you some proper ones," she thought to herself.
Clarke nodded and then, without any hesitation, began to change right there. She stripped off the scrub bottoms and t-shirt, leaving them in a heap on the ground. Lexa's eyes widened, and she quickly averted her gaze, focusing intently on the horizon.
Despite her best efforts, Lexa found it hard not to peek. She stole quick glances, her curiosity getting the better of her. Clarke's movements were efficient, almost practiced, as she pulled on the sweatpants and then the sweatshirt.
"Ready," Clarke said, her voice breaking Lexa's internal struggle. Lexa turned back, finding Clarke now dressed in the sweats, looking a bit more comfortable.
"Great," Lexa replied, trying to keep her voice even. She opened the car door for Clarke. "Let's get you settled."
As Clarke climbed into the car, Lexa took a deep breath, steadying herself for whatever came next. Clarke's intense gaze had left a lasting impression. This encounter might have started under strange circumstances, but there was potential for something more. She started the engine, ready to see where this road would lead.
Lexa pulled out of the prison parking lot, the silence between her and Clarke stretching as she navigated towards the highway. All they really knew about each other were their names, exchanged for the purpose of this pick-up. Lexa's mind raced, trying to think of something to say to break the ice.
"Are you hungry?" Lexa finally asked, glancing over at Clarke.
Clarke looked thoughtful for a moment before replying, "I could go for a juicy hamburger. But I only have a few dollars the prison gave me until I can get in touch with some people."
Lexa nodded, her mind made up. "Don't worry about it. I can pay for it."
Clarke turned to look at her, surprise evident in her blue eyes. "Really? Thanks."
"Sure," Lexa replied, giving Clarke a reassuring smile. "I know a diner that makes some of the best burgers around."
As they drove, the tension in the car began to ease slightly. Lexa focused on the road, her mind wandering to the diner she had in mind. It was a small, cozy place that she'd been to a few times.
After a short drive, they reached the diner. Lexa pulled into the parking lot and shut off the engine. "Here we are," she said, gesturing towards the quaint building. "Trust me, you won't be disappointed."
Clarke gave her a small, appreciative smile. "Thanks, Lexa."
They stepped out of the car and walked towards the entrance. As they entered, the familiar aroma of meat and freshly baked buns greeted them. The diner was bustling with activity, the sound of clinking dishes and cheerful chatter filling the air.
Lexa led Clarke to a booth near the window, and they both sat down. A waitress soon approached, her notepad ready. "What can I get you folks today?"
Clarke didn't hesitate. "I'll have a cheeseburger with all the toppings, please. And a side of fries."
Lexa ordered the same, and the waitress nodded, jotting down their order before hurrying off to the kitchen.
As they waited for their food, Lexa looked across the table at Clarke. "So, what's the first thing you want to do once you get back on your feet?"
Clarke shrugged, her expression thoughtful. "I guess just find some stability. Get a job, reconnect with some people I lost touch with. It's been a while since I felt... normal."
Lexa nodded, understanding the sentiment. "Well, if you need any help, just let me know. I'm happy to assist however I can."
Clarke gave her a grateful look. "Thanks, Lexa. That means a lot."
Clarke turned to watch the cars go by on the highway, the fleeting vehicles reflecting the newfound freedom she was just beginning to taste.
The food arrived, and Lexa couldn't help but watch as the waitress set down their plates. The burgers were massive, with juices already seeping into the buns, and the fries were perfectly golden. Clarke's eyes widened at the sight, a mix of anticipation and disbelief playing across her features.
Clarke picked up her burger, the weight of it almost comical in her hands. Lexa could see her mouth watering as she brought the burger closer. The first bite seemed almost ceremonial. Clarke's teeth sank into the meat, and Lexa watched as her expression transformed.
Clarke's eyes fluttered closed, and a soft, almost scandalized moan escaped her lips. The sheer delight on her face was undeniable. It was as if this simple burger was the best thing she had ever tasted, and perhaps, after years without real food, it truly was.
Lexa found herself smiling, feeling a strange sense of contentment at Clarke's enjoyment. She couldn't look away as Clarke took another bite, her reactions no less enthusiastic. There was something deeply gratifying about seeing someone take such pleasure in something so simple.
"This is amazing," Clarke said between bites, her voice filled with genuine appreciation. "I can't even remember the last time I had food this good."
Lexa chuckled. "I'm glad you like it. This place is a bit of a hidden gem."
Clarke nodded, her focus mostly on the burger in her hands. "You weren't kidding about these burgers."
Lexa couldn't help but watch Clarke while she ate. Each movement was captivating, from the way Clarke squeezed ketchup onto her plate to the precise manner in which she dipped a fry and brought it to her mouth. Clarke's eyes closed in pure delight, and once again, a scandalous moan of pleasure escaped her lips.
Each time Clarke moaned, Lexa felt a surge of fascination and longing that took her by surprise. She hadn't anticipated this reaction, but part of her had hoped for it. Watching Clarke savor every bite with such unrestrained joy stirred something deep within Lexa, making her pulse quicken and her mind race with possibilities.
As Clarke continued to eat, seemingly oblivious to Lexa's gaze, Lexa's thoughts swirled. The simple act of sharing this meal had become something much more profound, and with each moan of pleasure from Clarke, Lexa felt her own desires intensify, creating a connection she hadn't expected but welcomed wholeheartedly.
Lexa took a bite of her own burger, chewing thoughtfully, her eyes occasionally flicking to Clarke, who was clearly engrossed in her meal. As Lexa reached for a fry, she noticed Clarke’s gaze had drifted to the diner counter, where a display of pies sat enticingly under a glass dome. Clarke's eyes lingered on a particularly slice of apple pie.
Without hesitation, Lexa caught the waitress's attention. "Excuse me," she called out with a warm smile, "could you bring us a slice of that apple pie, please?"
Clarke’s head snapped back to Lexa, surprise evident in her eyes. "You don’t have to do that," she said, though her voice was soft, and the gratitude in her tone was unmistakable.
Lexa waved off her concern. "I want to," she replied. "Consider it part of the welcome-back-to-the-real-world package."
The waitress returned moments later with a generous slice of apple pie. She set it down in front of Clarke with a friendly smile. "Enjoy!"
Clarke stared at the pie for a moment before looking up at Lexa. "Thank you," she said sincerely, her voice barely above a whisper.
Lexa watched as Clarke took her first bite, the way her eyes widened in delight and another soft, scandalous moan of pleasure escaped her lips. It was worth every penny to see Clarke enjoy herself so thoroughly. Each reaction from Clarke stirred something deep within Lexa, intensifying the unexpected connection that was forming between them.
Clarke finished her pie, savoring the last bite with a satisfied sigh. Lexa, having finished her burger and fries, took a sip of her soda, enjoying the silence between them. She was about to ask about the quality of the pie when Clarke's voice broke through her thoughts.
"So," Clarke began, her tone laced with curiosity and a hint of something else. "What do you expect to get out of picking up a prisoner you don't know? Are you looking for something in particular?"
The question hung in the air, and Lexa nearly choked on the sip of soda she was swallowing. She coughed slightly, managing to get it down with some force before setting the glass back on the table. She met Clarke's piercing blue eyes, the intensity behind them making her heart race.
"Honestly," Lexa started, choosing her words carefully, "I’m not entirely sure what I expected. I guess... I was curious. I wanted to help."
Clarke raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eye. "You know," she continued, her voice dropping to a low, suggestive tone, "I've heard there are omegas who do this just to get fucked raw by a prisoner who hasn't seen an omega in years."
Lexa's eyes widened in shock, and she felt a blush creep up her neck, spreading across her cheeks. She swallowed hard, the words taking a moment to sink in.
Clarke's intense gaze didn't waver. "Ah, I see," she said slowly, a smirk forming on her lips. "So, you were hoping the same thing, huh?"
Lexa's mind raced, her pulse quickening. For a moment, she hesitated, the weight of the truth pressing down on her. But then, in a bold move, she decided to be honest. "Maybe," she said, meeting Clarke's gaze head-on. "Maybe I was looking for that from a prisoner."
Clarke's smirk widened, her eyes glinting with amusement and intrigue. "Well, that's interesting," she replied, her voice a mix of surprise and appreciation. "I didn't expect you to be so straightforward."
Lexa felt her heart pound in her chest, the intensity of the moment almost overwhelming. "I figured honesty was the best approach," she said, her voice steady despite the nervous flutter in her stomach.
Clarke nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful. "Fair enough. It's not often you meet someone willing to be that upfront."
Lexa smiled, feeling a bit of relief and exhilaration. "So, where does that leave us?" she asked, curious about Clarke's reaction.
Clarke leaned back in her seat, her gaze never leaving Lexa's. "I guess that depends on where you want it to go," she said, her voice soft but filled with promise.
Lexa took a deep breath, feeling a sense of anticipation. "Let's see where this takes us," she replied, her tone matching Clarke's. "No expectations, just... possibilities."
Clarke raised her glass of water in a small toast. "To possibilities, then."
Lexa clinked her glass against Clarke's, the sound ringing out like a promise. As they both took a sip, Lexa couldn't shake the feeling that this might be the start of something significant, something she was more than willing to explore.
Lexa raised her hand to catch the waitress's attention and called out, "Can we get the check, please?"
Lexa quickly settled the bill, leaving a generous tip for the waitress. As she and Clarke made their way to the car, the tension between them was almost palpable. The moment they were both inside, Clarke leaned over and captured Lexa’s lips in a fervent kiss. Lexa responded eagerly, her hands threading through Clarke’s blonde hair as the kiss deepened, their breaths mingling and hearts racing.
After a few intense moments, Lexa reluctantly pulled away, her voice breathless. "I know a hotel up the road," she said, her eyes locked onto Clarke's.
"Let's go," Clarke replied, her voice husky with desire.
Lexa started the engine and pulled out of the diner's parking lot, heading towards the highway. As they drove, Clarke's hand began to rub Lexa's leg, sending shivers up her spine. Lexa bit her lip, trying to stay focused on the road, but it became increasingly difficult as Clarke leaned over and began kissing her neck.
The sensation of Clarke's lips on her skin almost caused Lexa to lose control of the car. She gripped the steering wheel tighter, trying to keep her mind clear. "Clarke," she gasped, "I need to focus if we're going to get there in one piece."
Clarke chuckled softly, her breath warm against Lexa's ear. "You're right. I'll try to behave," she said, though her hand continued to caress Lexa's thigh in a way that made it hard for her to concentrate.
Lexa's heart pounded as she navigated the twists and turns of the road, the anticipation of what awaited them at the hotel fueling her adrenaline. She stole a glance at Clarke, who was watching her with a smoldering intensity that made her pulse race even faster.
Finally, the hotel came into view, and Lexa breathed a sigh of relief as she pulled into the parking lot. She parked the car and turned off the engine, turning to face Clarke with a hint of excitement and nervousness. "We're here," she said softly.
Clarke leaned in, brushing her lips against Lexa's in a teasing kiss. "Let's not waste any time, then," she murmured.
They both hurried out of the car and into the hotel, the promise of what was to come hastening their steps.
Lexa and Clarke hurried through the hotel lobby, the tension between them electric. Lexa secured a room quickly, and they made their way to the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, Clarke pressed Lexa against the wall, capturing her lips in a hungry kiss. Lexa responded eagerly, her hands roaming over Clarke's back, pulling her closer.
The elevator began its ascent to the fourth floor, but neither of them paid any attention. Clarke's hands found their way under Lexa's shirt, her touch sending shivers down Lexa's spine. Lexa moaned softly, her fingers tangling in Clarke's blonde hair as their kisses grew more intense.
Clarke's lips trailed down Lexa's neck, nibbling and sucking, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. Lexa's breath hitched, her heart pounding in her chest. The elevator seemed to be moving agonizingly slow, each second feeling like an eternity.
When the elevator dinged to announce their arrival on the fourth floor, they reluctantly pulled apart, both breathing heavily. Clarke's eyes were dark with desire, matching the intensity Lexa felt coursing through her veins. They stumbled out of the elevator, barely managing to keep their hands off each other as they made their way down the hallway to their room.
Lexa fumbled with the key card, finally managing to unlock the door. As soon as it swung open, they tumbled inside, the door closing behind them with a decisive click.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind them, Clarke wasted no time. She pinned Lexa against the door, her lips crashing onto Lexa's with a passion that left them both breathless. Clarke's hands roamed freely, exploring the curves of Lexa's body with a hunger that had been building since they left the diner.
Lexa gasped into the kiss, her hands gripping Clarke's shoulders for support as Clarke's fingers trailed down her sides, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Clarke's lips moved from Lexa's mouth to her neck, kissing and nibbling, making Lexa moan softly. The sound seemed to spur Clarke on, her touch growing bolder, her hands slipping under Lexa's shirt to caress the warm skin beneath.
Clarke's fingers traced the outline of Lexa's bra, teasingly skimming over the fabric. Lexa's breath hitched, her head tilting back against the door as she surrendered to the sensations coursing through her. Clarke's hands moved to Lexa's hips, gripping them firmly as she pressed her body closer, their heat mingling in the confined space.
"God, Clarke," Lexa breathed, her voice trembling with need. "I can't get enough of you."
Clarke pulled back slightly, just enough to look into Lexa's eyes. "Then don't," she whispered, her lips brushing against Lexa's as she spoke. "I want to fuck you, Lexa. Give you what you picked me up for."
With that, Clarke captured Lexa's lips again, the kiss even more intense, more demanding. Lexa responded eagerly, her hands finding their way into Clarke's hair, pulling her closer. Clarke's hands continued their exploration, every touch driving Lexa wild with anticipation.
As Clarke pressed against her, Lexa's breath caught in her throat. She could feel Clarke's hardness through the sweatpants, the unexpected sensation sending a jolt of arousal through her. Clarke's erection felt substantial, even through their clothes, and Lexa couldn't help but briefly wonder just how large Clarke was.
The thought made her pulse quicken, her curiosity mingling with desire. Clarke's fingers, already tracing the outline of Lexa's bra, now slipped beneath the fabric, caressing her skin with a tantalizing touch. Their kisses grew more passionate and intense, the urgency between them palpable.
Clarke seemed to sense Lexa's reaction, her lips curving into a knowing smile against Lexa's neck. "Like what you feel?" Clarke murmured, her voice husky with desire.
Lexa nodded, her hands exploring Clarke's back, pulling her closer. "I do," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I want to feel it all."
Clarke's response was immediate. She pressed her body more firmly against Lexa's, her hips grinding slightly, making Lexa gasp. The friction sent waves of pleasure through her, and she couldn't hold back a soft moan.
"Then let's not waste any more time," Clarke said, her voice filled with promise.
Clarke's hands moved with confident precision, unclasping Lexa's bra and freeing her breasts. Lexa's thoughts swirled, her anticipation building as Clarke's touch sent electric shivers across her skin. The combination of Clarke's arousal pressing against her and the skilled caresses on her breasts drove Lexa wild, her curiosity about Clarke's size only adding to the excitement.
"Lexa," Clarke whispered, her voice a low growl. "I want to see all of you."
Lexa's heart raced, her body aching with desire as she nodded, ready for this passionate encounter to move further along.
Clarke's hands slid from Lexa's breasts to her waist, guiding her away from the door and towards the bed. The urgency in Clarke's movements was balanced by a surprising tenderness, and Lexa felt herself being gently maneuvered backward.
Clarke paused just long enough to strip the comforter and sheet off the bed, tossing them aside with swift, efficient motions. Then, she turned her attention back to Lexa, her eyes dark with desire yet filled with a softness that took Lexa by surprise.
With a delicate touch, Clarke began to undress Lexa, her fingers working with a practiced ease. She slowly lifted Lexa's shirt over her head, dropping it to the floor before moving to unbutton her jeans. All the while, Clarke's lips never strayed far from Lexa's skin, kissing a trail down her neck, across her collarbone, and lower still.
Lexa's breath hitched as Clarke's lips brushed over the sensitive skin of her stomach. Clarke knelt, easing Lexa's jeans down her legs, and then kissed her way back up, stopping briefly to nuzzle the soft skin just above Lexa's underwear. Lexa's hands found their way into Clarke's hair, fingers threading through the soft strands as she tried to steady herself against the overwhelming sensations.
Clarke's hands and lips were everywhere, caressing, teasing, and tasting. Each touch sent waves of pleasure coursing through Lexa's body. Clarke's lips trailed lower, over her hips, and down her thighs, before slowly, almost reverently, removing Lexa's underwear.
"You're beautiful," Clarke murmured, her voice filled with admiration as she looked up at Lexa. The words sent a rush of warmth spreading through her.
With gentle yet insistent hands, Clarke guided Lexa onto the bed, laying her down with care. Clarke's lips continued their journey, kissing a slow, deliberate trail back up Lexa's body, leaving no inch of skin untouched.
Lexa's breathing grew ragged, her anticipation building with every kiss. Clarke's tenderness, combined with the raw desire in her eyes, left Lexa feeling cherished and utterly desired. The connection between them was electric, a charged energy that made every touch, every kiss, feel like a promise of something extraordinary.
Clarke moved with a fluid grace, settling herself over Lexa, her body a comforting weight. She looked down at Lexa, their eyes locking in an intense, silent exchange that spoke volumes. Then, with a soft smile, Clarke leaned in and captured Lexa’s lips once more.
These kisses were different from before, not as hurried or heated, but a beautiful mix of tenderness and desire. Clarke's lips moved slowly against Lexa's, savoring the connection with a delicate intensity that made Lexa's heart flutter. Each kiss was a gentle exploration, a reaffirmation of the burgeoning connection between them.
Clarke's hands cupped Lexa's face, her thumbs brushing lightly over her cheeks. The kisses deepened, but retained that same tender quality, each one a sweet promise. Lexa's hands roamed over Clarke's back, feeling the strength of her muscles and the warmth of her skin, her fingers tracing patterns that seemed to draw them even closer together.
As Clarke continued to kiss her, Lexa felt a profound sense of being cherished. Clarke's lips moved from her mouth to her jaw, then down to the sensitive spot just below her ear, each touch sending shivers through her body. Lexa closed her eyes, surrendering to the exquisite blend of emotions and sensations washing over her.
Clarke pulled back slightly, resting her forehead against Lexa's, her breath warm against Lexa's lips. "I want you to feel every moment of this," Clarke whispered, her voice filled with emotion.
Lexa opened her eyes, meeting Clarke's gaze. "I do," she replied softly, her voice trembling. "I feel it all."
Clarke's smile widened, and she leaned in to kiss Lexa again, slow and tender, each kiss an affirmation of the connection growing between them.
Clarke shifted her body, moving slowly and deliberately between Lexa's legs. Lexa's breath hitched in anticipation, her heart pounding in her chest. Clarke's touch was gentle but firm, guiding Lexa's legs apart as she settled herself more comfortably.
Their eyes locked for a moment, an understanding passing between them. Clarke's lips curved into a soft smile before she began her descent, trailing kisses down Lexa's neck, over her collarbone, and across her chest. Each kiss left a trail of fire in its wake, igniting Lexa's senses.
Clarke's hands roamed over Lexa's body, caressing her sides and thighs with a reverence that made Lexa feel cherished. As Clarke kissed her way down, her lips brushed over Lexa's stomach, each touch sending shivers of pleasure through the omega. Lexa's fingers tangled in Clarke's hair, her breath coming in shallow gasps as the anticipation built.
Finally, Clarke reached her destination, her head settling between Lexa's thighs. Clarke took a moment, her breath warm against Lexa's most sensitive skin. Lexa felt a surge of arousal, her body trembling with the need for Clarke's touch.
Clarke's hands gently parted Lexa's thighs further, her lips placing soft, teasing kisses along the inner edges. Lexa's back arched slightly, her hands tightening their grip in Clarke's hair, urging her closer.
With a look of pure desire, Clarke met Lexa's eyes one last time before lowering her head and pressing a kiss to Lexa's clit. The sensation was electric, a shockwave of pleasure that made Lexa cry out softly. Clarke's tongue followed, moving with deliberate, languid strokes that sent Lexa spiraling into a world of bliss.
Lexa's hips bucked instinctively, her body responding to Clarke's skillful touch. Clarke's hands held her steady, providing a grounding presence as she continued to explore and worship Lexa's folds. The mixture of tenderness and desire in Clarke's movements left Lexa breathless, her moans filling the room as she surrendered completely to the pleasure Clarke was giving her.
Lexa could feel every stroke of Clarke's tongue, each movement sending waves of pleasure coursing through her body. It felt so good, so intensely perfect, that she could barely think, her mind lost in the sensations Clarke was creating. Clarke's tongue moved with a rhythm that seemed to sync with Lexa's heartbeat, each flick and swirl drawing her closer and closer to the edge.
Lexa's breath came in ragged gasps, her hands gripping Clarke's hair as her hips moved in time with Clarke's tongue. The world around her seemed to fade away, leaving only the connection between them, the building tension that coiled tighter and tighter in her core.
Clarke's hands caressed Lexa's thighs, grounding her, anchoring her to the moment. Lexa's eyes fluttered closed, her entire being focused on the exquisite pleasure that Clarke was giving her. She felt herself spiraling, the intensity of the sensations pulling her higher and higher until she was right on the brink, teetering at the precipice of ecstasy.
Just when Lexa thought she couldn't hold on any longer, she heard Clarke's voice, low and commanding, yet filled with a tender urgency. "Let go, Lexa."
The words were all Lexa needed. With a final, breathless cry, she let go, her body surrendering to the peak of pleasure. The release was overwhelming, a powerful wave that crashed over her, sending ripples of ecstasy through every fiber of her being. Clarke's tongue never stopped, drawing out Lexa's orgasm, making it last, intensifying every moment of bliss.
Lexa's body trembled, her back arching as she rode out the waves of her climax. Clarke's hands and mouth guided her through it, grounding her even as she soared. When the waves finally began to subside, Lexa collapsed back onto the bed, breathless and utterly spent.
Clarke moved back up, kissing her way up Lexa's body until she reached her lips. Lexa kissed her back with what little strength she had left, her heart still pounding, her body still tingling from the aftershocks of her release.
"That was incredible," Lexa whispered, her voice filled with awe.
Clarke smiled, brushing a stray strand of hair from Lexa's face. "You were incredible," she replied softly, her eyes filled with affection. "I’m glad I could give you that."
Lexa pulled Clarke down for another kiss, feeling a deep connection that went beyond the physical. It was a moment of pure intimacy, one that she knew she would cherish for a long time to come.
Lexa lay there for a moment, catching her breath and savoring the afterglow. Then, with a playful look in her eyes, she gathered her strength and, with a quick and unexpected move, flipped Clarke over onto her back. Clarke let out a surprised laugh, her eyes widening as Lexa took control.
Lexa wasted no time. She straddled Clarke, leaning down to capture her lips in a searing kiss. Clarke responded eagerly, her hands roaming over Lexa's back. The kiss was heated, a blend of passion and desire that left them both breathless.
Breaking the kiss, Lexa began her journey down Clarke's body, her lips trailing a path of fire. She kissed Clarke's neck, savoring the soft gasps that escaped Clarke's lips. Lexa gripped the hem of Clarke's shirt and, with a swift motion, pulled it off over her head. Her kisses moved lower, across Clarke's collarbone and down to her chest. Lexa's hands followed, caressing and teasing, drawing soft moans from Clarke as she continued her descent.
Lexa's lips found Clarke's breasts, her tongue swirling around each nipple, eliciting a shiver from Clarke. She lavished attention there for a moment, enjoying the way Clarke's body responded to her touch. But Lexa had a destination in mind, and she was eager to reach it.
She continued her journey, her kisses trailing down Clarke's stomach, feeling the muscles quiver beneath her lips. Clarke's breath hitched, her anticipation growing with each passing second. Lexa glanced up, meeting Clarke's gaze, her eyes filled with hunger.
Finally, Lexa reached her prize. Clarke's arousal was evident, straining against the fabric of her sweatpants. Lexa's breath hitched at the sight. With deliberate movements, she hooked her fingers under the waistband and slowly pulled the sweatpants down, revealing Clarke's impressive erection.
Lexa's eyes widened slightly, her earlier curiosity about Clarke's size now answered. She looked up at Clarke, whose expression was a filled with desire and vulnerability. Lexa leaned in, her breath warm against Clarke's hardened length, and placed a gentle kiss on the tip, drawing a sharp gasp from Clarke.
"You're beautiful," Lexa whispered.
Clarke's hands found their way into Lexa's hair, guiding her gently. "So are you," Clarke replied, her voice trembling with need.
Lexa didn't hesitate. She began to kiss and lick along Clarke's length, savoring every reaction, every sound Clarke made. Clarke's hips bucked slightly, her body responding eagerly to Lexa's touch. Lexa's hands caressed Clarke's thighs, grounding her as she continued her actions.
Clarke's breathing grew ragged, her moans filling the room. Lexa could feel Clarke's body tensing, the telltale signs of her approaching climax. Lexa's own arousal spiked at the thought, her determination to bring Clarke to the same heights of pleasure she had experienced fueling her movements.
Just as Clarke seemed on the verge of release, Lexa stopped. She shifted, positioning herself over Clarke's length, her eyes locked onto Clarke's as she slowly lowered herself, taking Clarke inside her inch by inch. The sensation was exquisite, sending a shudder through both of them.
Clarke's hands gripped Lexa's hips, as Lexa began to ride her, moving slowly at first, savoring every moment, every sensation. The feeling of Clarke filling her completely was intoxicating, and Lexa moaned softly, her movements becoming more fluid, more urgent.
Clarke's control snapped. With a sudden, powerful move, she flipped them over, pinning Lexa beneath her. Clarke began to thrust hard, each movement driving deeper, pushing Lexa closer to the edge.
Lexa's nails raked down Clarke's back, her moans growing louder with each powerful thrust. Clarke's pace was relentless, her rhythm perfect, driving Lexa higher and higher until she was teetering on the brink of ecstasy.
"Clarke," Lexa gasped, her voice trembling with need. "I'm so close again."
"Let go," Clarke growled, her voice husky. "Let me make you come."
With a final, powerful thrust, Lexa's body shattered, her orgasm crashing over her with a force that left her breathless. Clarke continued to thrust, drawing out Lexa's pleasure, her own release following moments later as she spilled into Lexa, their bodies moving in perfect harmony.
They collapsed together, breathless and spent, their bodies entwined. Clarke brushed a strand of hair from Lexa's face, her eyes softening. "You're amazing," she whispered, her voice filled with tenderness.
Lexa smiled. "So are you," she replied softly, her hand cupping Clarke's cheek. "That was... incredible."
They lay together, bodies still humming with residual pleasure. Clarke's fingers traced lazy patterns on Lexa's skin, as they both caught their breath.
It wasn't long before their desire flared up again. Clarke's lips found Lexa's neck, her kisses igniting a new wave of arousal. Lexa responded eagerly, her hands exploring Clarke's body with renewed fervor. Their kisses deepened, and soon they were lost in each other once more, bodies entwined and moving in a dance of want.
Each climax leaving them both trembling and breathless, only to be followed by another wave of desire. They barely paused to catch their breath before diving back into each other's arms, the cycle repeating again and again.
At times, it was slow and tender, Clarke's hands gentle and caressing, Lexa's lips whispering against Clarke's ear. At other moments, it was frenzied and urgent, their bodies moving with a desperate need to feel as much of each other as possible.
The hotel room seemed like a cocoon, the outside world fading into insignificance as they focused solely on the pleasure they gave each other. Hours passed, the boundaries between them dissolving as they gave themselves over completely to their passion.
As dawn began to break, their movements slowed, exhaustion finally catching up with them. Their final time was a slow, languid dance, a celebration of the bond they had forged through the night. Clarke's body pressed against Lexa's, their breaths mingling as they moved together one last time.
When they finally collapsed, too spent to continue, they lay tangled together, their bodies slick with sweat and their hearts still pounding. Lexa nestled against Clarke's chest, feeling the steady thrum of Clarke's heartbeat beneath her cheek. Clarke's arms wrapped around her, holding her close.
"You're unbelievable," Lexa murmured, her voice heavy with exhaustion and satisfaction.
Clarke pressed a soft kiss to Lexa's forehead. "So are you," she replied, her voice a gentle caress.
They drifted off to sleep, their bodies entwined, the promise of a new day and the deep connection they had forged carrying them into a peaceful slumber.
Lexa and Clarke woke up to the soft light of dawn filtering through the curtains. Their bodies were intertwined, a tangle of limbs and shared warmth. For a moment, they simply lay there, savoring the intimacy of the morning, but the reality of the day ahead soon intruded.
With a sigh, Lexa pressed a gentle kiss to Clarke’s lips. "We should get up," she murmured.
Clarke nodded, her heart heavy with the knowledge of what was coming next. They reluctantly untangled themselves and made their way to the bathroom, sharing a quiet, intimate shower. The water cascaded over their bodies, washing away the remnants of their night together, but not the connection they had forged.
Once they were dressed, they stripped the bed and left the room. The walk to the car was silent, each step a reminder of the inevitable separation looming ahead. Lexa started the engine, and Clarke directed her to their destination with a heavy heart.
As Lexa drove, Clarke stared out the window, wishing this moment could last forever. She knew where they were going and wished it wasn’t the case. The halfway house loomed large in her mind, a stark reminder of the world she would soon reenter.
After about twenty minutes, Lexa pulled up in front of a nondescript building. The sign above the door confirmed it: the halfway house Clarke had to check into. They sat in the car for a few minutes, the silence almost stifling.
Clarke's thoughts raced, wondering what Lexa was thinking. Was this all she was to Lexa? An easy fuck for a horny omega? Clarke’s heart ached at the thought.
Finally, Clarke found her voice, though it trembled slightly. "Lexa," she began, her eyes fixed on the omega, "will I ever see you again?"
Lexa turned away, looking out the windshield, and Clarke's heart sank. She knew that look—the distant, unsure look of someone who might not be ready for more. But then Lexa turned back to Clarke, her eyes steady and sincere.
"I'd like to," Lexa said softly. "I'd like to see if we can maybe build something together."
Clarke's heart lifted, relief flooding through her. She nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "I'd like that too."
They lingered in the car for a moment longer, before finally stepping out. Clarke took a deep breath and walked towards the building, feeling a renewed sense of hope. Lexa watched her go, her heart heavy yet determined. She knew this was just the beginning of their journey together.

Imagine the morning after sleeping with Lexa
Sleep never stayed too long for Lexa. Being the Heda to the Kongeda meant there was rarely a chance for a good night's sleep. There was always something she had to do - whether it be meeting with the clans' ambassadors or trying to resolve an issue - she was always kept busy. She didn't sleep until the late hours of the night and woke up as soon as the sun peeked over the horizon. A heavy burden she had to shoulder as Heda but as she watched the daybreak's light bathe you in its warm glow, maybe it wasn't so bad to be up so early.
You were oblivious to the world around you as you slept, so at peace as you laid by her side. Despite all the dangers the world had - the Mountain Men, Azgeda, Skaikru, you felt at ease enough to sleep deeply, trusting in Lexa and believing that she could keep you safe. Even after she had shared her past with you - about Costia and how Lexa could do nothing to save her when Queen Nia kidnapped her - you trusted her.
Lexa turns to rest on her side so she could take you in. Staring at your face, she tries burning each one of your features into her mind. The way your hair was splayed over the furs with a few strands falling over your face. Eyes trailed down the slope of your nose and across the expanse of your cheeks until they reached the bridge of your lips. The lips she had spent the entire night caressing, trying to convey how much she felt for you with each kiss she bestowed.
"Ai hod yu in," She whispered. I love you. The words that she used to be so scared of speaking into the world, fearing that someone would overhear them and use them against her.
But you deserved to hear them. You, who helped change her views on love. You, who tore down the walls around her heart that she had built to protect herself. You, who she couldn't imagine being without. When you woke up, she would say them again. She could already see it. The grin that would appear on your face as you brightened at the revelation of her feelings. How you would pull her into a hug and kiss her as if it would the only thing you would be able to do. "Ai hod yu in, [Name]."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑 [𝐎𝐍𝐄] — 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐗𝐀
two / masterlist / wattpad
summary: after befriending one of the Natblidas, you don't expect for her to become as important in your life as she is. But she's only on track to becoming Commander, so your feelings can never come first.
warning/s: usual warnings that come with the 100 such as mentions of violence and injuries etc.
author's note: okay so i've literally had writer's block for what feels like forever and this was requested a while ago. I've finally finished it (though i'm not content with the ending and couldn't for the life of me think of an alternative lol). Nonetheless, I hope you like it! It'll have two parts in total :)
also if anyone thinks Lexa is ooc, this is just how i imagine her to be growing up and pre-Costia okay, sue me
6 years old...
I followed my father as we approached the Tower in the centre of Polis. Apparently it was where the Commander lived, at least that's what everyone said, but I'd never actually seen him before. He was always protecting Polis, fighting enemy clans, hunting and other Commander-stuff – my dad said so – which was why he was hardly out in public.
For whatever reason, he was more of a figment of my imagination than an actual leader, but I'd never admit that aloud. Despite this, I always found his home – the Tower – very impressive, and whenever I'd accompany my father on visits, I'd be forever fascinated. My father was an apothecary and regularly made deliveries to the Commander's personal healer in the Tower, and so he always brought me with him.
I followed him through the winding corridors and past some guards dotted around and then we reached the healer's room on the ground floor. As usual, I was told to wait outside whilst business was conducted, but this time it took longer than usual. I heard laughter from inside the healer's room and figured my father and the healer were having a nice catch up which, from experience, would take forever.
Naturally, I wandered off momentarily, down the familiar hallway and peeking through open doors. My eyes drew to a particular room that was filled with a dozen or so young children, near enough my age though some a little older, and I knew who they were instantly.
The Natblidas.
I'd seen them around before on previous visits and also heard a lot about them from others in the city. They were black-blooded and able to take the Flame that the Commander had. Only those with black blood could be a Natblida and next in line for the throne once the Commander passed. They were scouted constantly, brought in from all different clans, trained to fight in Polis and eventually fight in a Conclave once the Commander was dead. The last one standing would lead next.
It was a difficult concept to grasp, especially so young, but I knew enough to know it was important. I didn't know any of the Natblidas personally, but whenever I saw them, I was always intrigued.
"What are you looking at?"
I jumped, startled at the voice from behind me. Turning around, I was ready to defend myself in case I was about to get in trouble, but all my words betrayed me once my eyes landed on the young girl before me, no older than I was. She was a little taller than me, had long curly brown hair and the brightest green eyes I'd ever seen. I wasn't sure what was so different about her to other kids I'd met, but I was certain she was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen in my little life.
"Hello? Do you understand me?" she asked in fluent Trigedasleng, quirking a brow.
"I– yes," I answered quickly, acutely aware of the butterflies in my stomach. Though, at the time, I'd never experienced butterflies so I wasn't sure why I felt like I was floating. "Sorry. I was just waiting for my father. He delivers medicine to the healer."
She crossed her arms, eyes looking me up and down with an air of maturity that other kids in the city didn't possess. "What's your name?"
"Y/N. What's yours?"
Her eyes met mine again, though this time her shoulders relaxed. "Lexa."
I smiled a little, offering out my forearm as I'd seen my father do whenever greeting others. "It's nice to meet you, Lexa."
She did the same, gripping mine and shaking it slightly. "You too, Y/N."
"Are you a Natblida?" I asked curiously.
She nodded.
"Wow," I muttered without meaning to, and then a small smile graced her lips and the butterflies only intensified.
"I have to get back to class," she said with a hint of amusement. "Will you come back? Next time? With your father?"
I nodded a little too quickly. "I always do."
She pressed her lips together, nodding, before moving past me to return to her class. But not before glancing at me once more, saying, "Goodbye, Y/N. See you next time."
I stupidly gaped at her, managing to wiggle my fingers in a goodbye wave, before catching the sparkle in her eye as she closed the door behind her.
I suppose you could say that was where both my friendship and crush on Lexa truly began.
It was from that point onwards where I would see her almost every time I visited the Tower with my father, which was, at most, a couple of days a week. Between finding moments to chat whilst my dad did his job or watching her train with the other Natblidas, it was safe to say my crush, and our friendship, blossomed with time.
I learnt about her experience as a Natblida, including how she'd been there the longest of all the other kids because she'd been brought to Polis as a two-year-old and had been training since. It explained why she was so mature for her age and why she took her role as a Natblida with the utmost seriousness. Nonetheless, she was still a kid like me, and that was why it was so easy to befriend one another.
She asked me tons of questions about my life, since our day-to-day responsibilities differed so much. Her days were filled with training, learning and shadowing warriors, whereas mine were filled with shadowing my father, learning about medicine and exploring all there was to know about the human body. I wanted to be a healer when I was older and so my dad was preparing me for that all he could.
It was easy enough to become closer to Lexa, so much that she began sneaking out to spend more time with me outside of her Natblida responsibilities. It was easy enough since she was practically a top student, so nobody ever suspected a thing.
And that was how we became best friends.
—
8 years old...
"You should let me train you more."
I scoffed and pushed Lexa off me with my sword, making her laugh as she backed up. She had the afternoon free from her Natblida responsibilities, so we were training together in the woods so she could get the extra practice in but also spend time with me.
"I'm not the one training to be Heda, so I think I'll stick to medicine," I retorted knowingly.
She rolled her eyes playfully before getting into a stance with her sword once more.
"This isn't fun for me, y'know," I reminded her as I, too, got into a stance. "Can't we go swimming now?"
She swung her sword just as I finished my sentence and I was quick to raise my own, otherwise my face would have been sliced in half.
"Soon," she got out between swings.
I struggled to keep up with her, not as accustomed to sword fighting as she was. Sometimes it was easy to forget this was all she knew, and our ideas of spending time together were very different.
She swung her sword with force, knocking mine from my grasp. I watched it clatter to the ground before hers found the tip of my chin with satisfaction.
"Not fair," I grumbled, and her grin was staring across from me, mischievous glint matching the glint of her sword.
"It's too easy," she said between a chuckle, before lowering her sword.
I feigned annoyance as I went to grab my sword, picking it up from the mud it landed in. This gave me an idea and I began to smile to myself as I grabbed my sword, as well as dipping the tips of my fingers in the mud.
"Your fighting is very good, Lexa," I complimented her, standing up and approaching her. "But you have to be fierce if you're to be Heda. Didn't you know that?"
She furrowed her brows, almost offended. "I am fierce!"
"I think some face paint would help," I said nonchalantly, using her momentary confusion as opportunity to swipe my mud-covered fingers across her cheek with a grin.
She squealed as she stepped back, eyes scrunching shut. I laughed at her expression as she wiped her cheek subconsciously, only spreading the mud further across her cheekbone.
"There," I spoke with pride. "Perfect."
Her bright eyes met mine competitively, an attempt to intimidate me, but I knew her long enough to find it anything but. Soon enough, her pursed lips curved into a smile and she was laughing alongside me.
"I suppose I deserved that," she admitted, shaking her head.
"You could actually wear some war paint though," I said after studying her face a little longer, both from genuine awe at how pretty she looked, even after training, and pure curiosity. "It suits you."
Thinking I was teasing, she shoved me back slightly, and I chuckled at the pink dusting her cheeks.
Looking back, it was how we discovered she actually did suit war paint, and it did indeed make her look more fierce. I was touched when I saw her wear it properly from then on out.

12 years old...
"Lexa, slow down!" I exclaimed, hands gripping her waist tightly.
Her laughter rang through the trees as she continued to ride her horse quickly, galloping through the forest and back to Polis. We had gone on a horse ride and picnic for lunch, or more of a late afternoon snack since it was the only time she could sneak off, but she always purposely rode fast, knowing it made me nauseous and dizzy.
Eventually she slowed down as we approached the edge of the city, coming to a halt by the west entrance. As soon as we stopped, I let go of her and slipped off the horse dizzily, leaning against a tree for support.
"I hate you," I mumbled, trying to steady myself.
"No you don't," she said between laughter, jumping off her horse and holding the reins.
I glared at her, half joking, before taking a deep breath. Once I was sure I wouldn't vomit, I straightened up, ready to walk the rest of the way.
"C'mon," she said, voice void of teasing and a gentle smile on her lips as she held out her hand.
I sighed but accepted her hand, letting her pull me to her side as we walked together. It was quiet as we walked through the city, though steadily getting busier as we approached the centre. As we walked, I remembered I wanted to share something with Lexa. It was actually the whole reason I wanted to hang out with her today, but the day got away from me and I completely forgot to mention it.
"So, I have some good news to share," I said, glancing over at her.
She quirked a brow, intrigued, returning my stare.
"My father set me up with a volunteer position," I started, pocketing my hands.
"Wow, really?" she asked excitedly, stopping to give me her full attention. "Where?"
I smiled a little, appreciative of her genuine interest. She knew I was trying to get some sort of official volunteering work from a skilled healer so I could learn.
"Well, you know how he delivers to the Commander's healer regularly?" I hinted playfully.
Her eyes widened slightly. "Really? You're going to be working with the Commander's personal healer?"
My smile widened as I nodded bashfully. "Yeah. It's only temporary, but–"
"Y/N, that's amazing!" she cut me off with a bright smile, before pulling me in for a hug. "I'm so proud of you!"
My whole face grew warm as she hugged me, not expecting it at all. It was safe to say I still had a huge crush on her, but I was too afraid to say anything, so it was little moments like these that I'd cling to with delusion.
"Who knows? Maybe when I become Commander, you can be my personal healer," she said once she pulled away, emerald eyes meeting mine with amazement.
I chuckled, shaking my head at her overexcitement. "You'd be sick of me by then, Lexa."
She glared at me playfully, shoving me in the shoulder. "Never."
I sighed, rolling my eyes with a ghost of a smile on my lips. Secretly, I hoped we'd stay in each other's lives forever. But neither of us knew what the future held, even if we liked to plan it out anyway.
—
14 years old...
The volunteering job I took with the Commander's personal healer turned out to be more permanent than I thought, as even two years on, I was still working with him and learning more than I ever could have learned anywhere else.
Doing so meant I was at the Tower every day, learning about different medicines, which thankfully I knew a lot about already because of my father, and first aid. I was learning stuff my father couldn't teach me, like cutting out an infection or cauterising a wound. And those were just the little things.
Being at the Tower so often also meant I saw Lexa more and more, without having to find time around her busy schedule. Of course, it was quite literally that – seeing each other and that was it. She was still training as a Natblida and I was still working as a volunteer, but catching a glimpse of her smile every now and then was enough to leave me on cloud nine for the rest of the day.
Of course, as Lexa's cohort grew older, it meant the pressures were getting stronger, and it was certainly having its effect. The last place I expected to see Lexa one afternoon was knocking on the door to the healer's room.
"Lexa," Nyko, the Commander's healer, noticed her first. "Is everything okay?"
Lexa avoided his eyes shamefully as she stepped inside. "Yes. Well– no. I was out hunting and a wild dog bit my arm..."
Only when she said that did my eyes lower to her forearm that she was clutching, black blood staining her sleeve.
"Come in, come in!" Nyko encouraged, before giving me a look that I knew all too well. "Y/N, will you…?"
I was already making a move to clear a space on the bed for her, though this time I was more concerned than usual for our newest patient. In my two years since volunteering, Lexa had never needed to visit. She rarely got injured and when she did, it was never anything serious.
She took a seat on the bed, stretching out her arm on the table next to her for Nyko to take a better look at. I stood beside him, though my eyes were trained on her. She was avoiding my gaze, distracted and seemingly unbothered by her wound. This was very unlike her and I had a million questions on the tip of my tongue.
"I'm sorry, dear, but I'll have to cut your sleeve," Nyko said gently, to which she barely shrugged in response.
My attention fell back to her arm, where Nyko was uncovering her wound with some scissors to her sleeve. It was a nasty bite with sharp, deep teeth marks and a black bloody mess left in its wake.
As usual, Nyko began to explain what he was doing as he did it, cleaning the blood and disinfecting the wound, which elicited a soft groan from Lexa. Then he began to spread an ointment over the top to stop any bacteria infecting the area further before holding out some bandages towards me.
"Think you can wrap her up?" he asked.
I nodded, accepting the bandages and trading places with him. Carefully, I wrapped her wound and taped it off, glancing at her as I did. She still wouldn't look my way and it concerned me.
"Looks good, Y/N," Nyko complimented, patting me on the back, before glancing at Lexa and noticing her distracted self too. "I'll be back. Need some more water. You okay here?"
It was obvious what he was doing, knowing a little of our friendship, and I appreciated it massively. Nodding his way, he offered me a small smile before leaving the room.
"Lexa," I said softly, squeezing her hand gently to earn her attention. "What happened?"
She sighed. "I told you. Dog bite."
"I know that, but... how?"
She shrugged, letting go of my hand and swinging her legs over the side of the bed. "I was a little distracted I guess."
I frowned, taking in her expression. She looked more tired than usual, her eyes darkened with fatigue.
"You can talk to me," I reminded her. "It's me."
She licked her lips thoughtfully before finally lifting her gaze to meet mine. She stared for a moment, as if debating whether to share how she was feeling, before saying, "Anya asked me to be her second."
Unsure if I'd heard correctly, it took me a second longer to respond. "What? She– what? Lexa, that's– that's great! Isn't it?"
Anya was one of the Commander's most esteemed warriors, having risen through the ranks so quickly at such a young age. For her to recognise Lexa's talent and ask to be her mentor was huge! So, what was the problem?
Lexa creased her brows as she looked down to her hands, one of which was already picking at her bandage subconsciously. I placed my hand on hers, stopping her, and she paused but didn't look up.
"What if I'm not good enough?" she said in such a quiet voice that it didn't sound like it belonged to her.
I raised my brows with disbelief. Lexa was never one to doubt herself, ever. She had no need to! But it made sense why she was so distracted lately. She'd clearly been putting a lot of pressure on herself.
"You're kidding, right?" I asked.
She gave me a disapproving look, upset.
"Lexa," I spoke truthfully, resting a hand on her shoulder. "You're seriously one of the most talented Natblidas there are. Clearly Anya recognises as much if she asked you to be her second."
"I know, but–"
"It's not a test," I told her, eyes flickering between hers. "She wants to make you better. To teach you all she can so you can go on to win Conclave when the time comes. You want that, don't you?"
She nodded weakly.
"Then you're going be okay," I reassured her. "You're more than good enough and she should be lucky to have you."
Lexa swallowed thickly, still uncertain. "Aren't you biased?"
I couldn't help but laugh a little. "Probably. But I also know that everybody sees how amazing of a warrior you are. You're seriously talented. You're intelligent. You're everything the future Commander needs to be. You shouldn't doubt yourself."
She blinked, eyes softening at my words, and I knew I'd said the right thing. Standing up, she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and hugged me tight, tucking her head into my shoulder. I smiled slightly, returning the hug and rubbing her back.
"Thank you," she muttered, not quite breaking away just yet.
"I mean it," I replied, holding her for as long as she wanted me to.
After a moment, she pulled apart, though her hands lingered on my shoulders for a moment, and mine on her waist. My eyes naturally fell to hers, enamoured by the flecks of gold in her irises, and then I started to admire how beautiful she looked, how she was growing into her features more and more every day. For the first time since knowing her, I really wanted to know what it would be like to kiss her, and that's when I knew I was in too deep.
She had the weight of her world on her shoulders, and the responsibilities of a Natblida weren't light. The last thing she needed was her friendship in ruins because I couldn't keep my thoughts to myself.
"Now, please get some rest and pay attention on your hunts," I said with an awkward smile, taking a subtle step back to distract myself from thoughts of her. "You worried me with this injury of yours."
She cracked a smile, looking down shyly, only intensifying the butterflies in my stomach. "I will. Sorry."
She was my best friend, nothing more. I had to keep telling myself that, that was all.

16 years old...
The day that nobody expected had finally arrived. It was a day like any other, myself working with Nyko in the Tower – I was officially in his employ as of last year – when word spread about the Commander's passing.
He'd died in his sleep last night, succumbing to wounds from a battle with Azgeda that took place days ago. It was shocking, since Nyko and I had done all we could and genuinely believed he'd pull through, but his body wasn't as young as it used to be so it only made sense.
His death meant Conclave had to take place immediately, the following morning, and the first person who came to mind was Lexa. I wanted to go see her as soon as I could, but there was no time because of all the preparations that were taking place. All the Natblidas were off limits until the morning, so I couldn't stop by until then.
I thought I'd missed my chance when I slept in and realised the first fight was to take place within the hour. Relief spread through me when I spotted Lexa following some other Natblidas down the hall in the Tower, no doubt to join the rest of them on the battle grounds. I wasn't too late.
As soon as her eyes found mine, they widened with surprise before she slowed down her steps, letting the others walk past her subtly. I joined her side instantly as they left the hall, the two of us meeting in an embrace.
"I thought you weren't coming," she said uneasily, making my heart prick with guilt.
"I'm sorry, they wouldn't let me yesterday and I was running late this morning," I explained apologetically, pulling apart to meet her gaze. "I could never not come to see you, Lexa."
She swallowed visibly, nodding. Though she was as prepared as could be for Conclave, it was still a daunting experience and she seemed nervous.
"You're going to be fine," I told her, taking her hands in mine and squeezing them. "And when you become the Commander, I'm still going to be here for you. Like always."
"If," she corrected.
I shook my head. "You're going to win, Lexa."
"Luna is just as good," she pointed out.
"And you've trained longer than her," I retorted. "Longer than any of them. You can do it."
She pursed her lips, exhaling through her nose.
"I'll be watching front row," I said, eyes darting between hers. "Waiting for you when it's over. When they announce your win."
Her jaw tensed uneasily. "If they don't, this'll be the last time we speak."
I tried my hardest to keep smiling for her sake, but the truth of her words hit me hard. I didn't doubt she wouldn't win, but in the tiniest of chances she didn't, then I'd lose her for good. And then what? Who would I have left?
"We'll speak again," I said with certainty.
She wasn't as confident as I was, her gaze faltering, lip trembling ever so slightly. "But if we don't, Y/N, I... I need you to know that you mean the world to me."
"Lexa, don't–"
"No, just listen," she said firmly, squeezing my hands. "I never had a family. Anya is the closest I have, but it's not the same. Not like it is with you. I couldn't have done this without you, Y/N. Any of it."
I scoffed, teary-eyed at her words. "You definitely could've."
"No," she disagreed, licking her lips.
My heart soared in my chest at the way she spoke, like this would be the final time. It couldn't be, and yet– what if it was? What if this was the last time I could ever tell her the truth about how I'd felt about her all these years? She just opened up to me, so shouldn't I? Could I?
The words were stuck in my throat, as they'd been since I first met her. I wanted to tell her the truth, even if it was the last thing I ever said to her, but I couldn't. I was a coward, as always.
"What is it?" she asked with concern, resting a hand on my shoulder.
I smiled sadly, shaking my head. Even as she watched me with a tender gaze, I couldn't bring it in myself to ruin this. Not now, not when it could be our last moment together.
"Nothing, now come here," was all I said, pulling her in for a final hug so she couldn't see the tears slipping from my eyes.
Maybe a coward was all I would ever be.
—
It was no surprise that Lexa won Conclave and was crowned our new Commander. Even as I watched her fight, occasionally faltering at the swipe of a sword or a lucky punch, I didn't doubt she wouldn't make it. My heart was in my throat a few times, sure, but she always pulled through.
That same evening, she received the Flame in a private ceremony, whilst the rest of the city celebrated the appointment of their new Commander. Meanwhile, I was counting down the minutes until I could finally go and visit her, congratulate her, hold her.
It was late, well into the night, when I was finally allowed upstairs to the Commander's quarters – Lexa's new home – to see her. As soon as the doors opened, I pulled her in for a tight hug.
"You did it," I breathed out with relief as her hands wrapped around my waist. "I knew you would. Congratulations, Lexa. Or should I say Heda."
She chuckled slightly, also relieved, and didn't let go of me just yet. Finally, after a moment, she pulled apart and met my gaze. I couldn't help but notice the cut on her lip and the bruise darkening around her left eye. A small price to pay for the win.
"I have a surprise for you," she said softly, not letting go of my hands.
I tilted my head, confused.
She continued, "You've been working your way to becoming a healer, like Nyko. You're almost there. And as Heda, I'll need my own personal one."
"And you have one," I reminded her. "Nyko."
She shook her head, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "That was the previous Commander's. I need my own and Nyko said he trusts you. He will still work for me, but I want you to be mine." I quirked a brow, and she quickly corrected with pink cheeks, "My personal healer, I mean. I want you by my side like we always said."
I swallowed hard, taken aback. "Are you sure?"
She laughed, the room brightening at the sound. "Of course I'm sure!"
I exhaled quietly, smiling all the same. It was hard to believe what she was saying. Yes, we'd discussed this as kids, but I never saw it actually happening. And so quickly? She'd only been crowned Heda hours ago!
"I'd love to," I said appreciatively.
Her smile widened, eyes sparkling with excitement. I almost got lost in the shades of green and gold, heart soaring at the fact that she was still alive, mostly unhurt, the new Commander and right by my side again. The high I was on was unmatched and I truly considered lightening the load even more by telling her the truth about my feelings for her.
But it was the wrong time. She'd just been given a massive responsibility. I couldn't add to that. And I'd been rewarded with so much, including her safety. I needed to be grateful for what I had, not risk ruining it with what I didn't.

Mirror sex so Lexa is forced to watch herself being split open and spread as she takes Clarke's knot 🥵
Staring at herself fully nude, her tan skin now adorned with bites and purple bruises as she trembles with something between fear and excitement.
Sitting on Clarke's lap, legs secured opened by Clarke's arms, the sharp nail of hands digging into her thighs, certain to draw blood if she firms up her grasp.
Clarke's dick up and proud, covering her cunt for now as she relays to Lexa how it will feel inside of her, how good Lexa is gonna make her feel, how Clarke hopes she doesn't break such a pretty toy. Like this Lexa can see just how deep Clarke's dick can go, how the girth of it looks impossible to take, the knot at the base of it looking as delicious as it looks mortifying.
Lexa watches and she feels it. Clarke demands her not to close her eyes with a stern voice, immediately soothing the slight fear it brings out in Lexa with a kiss on her shoulder, sharp teeth dragging on it.
It is as big as it looks, as difficult as it looks, as delicious as it looks. Far too much all at once and Lexa feels like she might die faster if Clarke doesn't bury herself inside than is she does. Looking at herself taking it, watching Clarke's cock disappear inside of her cunt inch by inch feels impossible, a magic trick or an illusion of some sort. It should not be humanely possible and yet she sees herself being split open and god if she doesn't feel it too.
The knot stops Clarke's movements, tongue licking behind Lexa's earlobe to sooth any pain, whispered moans into her ear that make Lexa clutch around her dick and in return make Clarke moan louder and heavier, letting Lexa know just how good she's doing.
"It might hurt." Clarke warns. Not as a question if Lexa wsnts to stop, a simple warning so Lexa is aware.
"Break me for all I care." Lexa manages to let out, hoarse and with a hint of sass, making Clarke chuckle and kiss her jaw, leaving a bite in her wake.
It enter her all at once and Lexa's eyes open wide at the vision in the mirror of it entering her so quickly, locking them in place. She’s not sure how many times between the time Clarke's tip entered her and now she has cum but this is the first one that makes her legs fight against Clarke's hands, wanting to close herself up and make sure Clarke never leaves.
She manages to do so, a scratch that bleeds immediate on her tight as she forces her leg away from Clarke's claws. A growl in her ear as her fearing for a severe punishment, but Clarke does nothing more than kiss her and lock her arm underneath Lexa's knees, legs forced up. In the mirror, Lexa can now see just Clarke's knot looked inside of her.
"Hold on tight pet, I'm not going anywhere."

Lost
Part 3
word count - 1733
Y/n walked alongside Bellamy and Clarke, their boots sinking into the soft earth with each step, her gaze sweeping over the others to ensure everyone was holding up okay.
"You did a great job back there," she said, offering Clarke a reassuring smile. "Getting that transceiver could be our ticket out of here."
Clarke returned the smile, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thanks.” She brushed a stray lock of hair out of her face, the gesture a small but genuine display of appreciation.
Jasper, walking a few paces ahead, turned back with a smirk his movements loose and relaxed. "Yeah, you're like our own personal superhero." He bounced on his heels, the rhythm of his steps a testament to his restless energy.
Y/n chuckled, brushing her hand against the bark of a nearby tree as she walked. "Just doing my part," she replied.
Raven, the pragmatist, walked confidently backwards as she spoke, her feet steady despite the uneven terrain. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have to make it back to camp in one piece." Her hands moved animatedly as she talked, punctuating her words with purposeful gestures.
Bellamy nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "She's right. We need to stay focused and keep moving." His posture was straighter than a stick.
The group's brisk pace through the forest abruptly halted as Raven's urgent call pierced the quietude of the campsite. "Something's wrong!" Her words prompted Clarke and Y/n to hasten their pace to the beach. A huddled group gathered around an unresponsive man lying on the ground. “What happened?” Clarke probed.
“I don't know,' Harper replied, her voice shaking. “I found him like this.” Clarke wasted no time, her voice commanding. "Check for a pulse," she directed, already kneeling beside the man, her eyes scanning the man's body for any signs of injury. Y/n nodded, her hands palpating his neck for any signs of life. “Everyone move back!”
Meanwhile, Bellamy's determined strides brought him to Raven's side, where he thrust the transceiver into her capable hands. "See what you can do with this," he said. Raven nodded, already focused on the device in her hands.
Clarke and Y/n worked in tandem, seamlessly falling into a rhythm as she began CPR on the man, hoping for a response. Minutes felt like hours as they continued their efforts until a faint gasp broke through the silence, followed by the shallow rise and fall of the man's chest. Clarke and Y/n exchanged a relieved look, knowing that they had managed to save his life.
The man's breathing steadied, he began to whisper, his voice barely audible above the waves crashing beside them. Y/N leaned in closer, her ears straining to catch his words. "Where are they?" he mumbled into the air.
Y/N exchanged a puzzled glance with Clarke before turning back to the man, her voice gentle but insistent. "Who are you looking for?" she asked. before the man could respond, a wave of dizziness washed over him, and his eyes fluttered closed once more, slipping back into unconsciousness.
…
Raven furrowed her brow in frustration as she examined the transceiver, the dim glow of its screen revealing the dreaded message: low battery, no signal.
She muttered a string of curses under her breath, her fingers flying over the device in a desperate attempt to coax it back to life. "Damn it," she muttered, her frustration mounting with each futile attempt.
Her attention was drawn to Bellamy's figure as he walked through the sand of the beach, his brow furrowed in thought. "Bellamy!" Raven called out. "We need to head inland. The transceiver won't work here."
Bellamy's attention sharpened on Raven, he nodded in agreement. "I'll gather a group. We'll head into the woods and see what we can find." Bellamy turned on his heel and began to walk back towards the camp.
…
Bellamy organized the team, he singled out Octavia, Lincoln, John and Raven to accompany him inland. With determined strides, they set off through the dense forest, the oppressive heat bearing down on them as they ascended towards the looming mountain peak.
Sweat dripped down their faces and their clothes clung to their bodies, but they continued to hike.
roars reverberated from all directions, causing the group to instinctively huddle together back to back, their hearts pounding in their chests. "What was that?" Octavia said, Lincoln locked hands with her as they scanned the trees, trying to calm her nerves. "I've never heard anything like it." He rebutted, his own voice shaking.
"We need to keep moving. Whatever it is, we don't want to find out." Raven conceded. They strained to listen for any sign of the approaching danger. Without warning, a massive creature thundered through the underbrush from Lincoln's direction.
They broke into a sprint, feet pounding against the forest floor as they ran for their lives. The creature let out another deafening roar, its hot breath on their heels as they desperately tried to outrun it.
Bellamy hesitated, his instincts urging him to confront the threat head-on.
"Go!" he shouted to the others, as the others urged him to keep running, a deep growl froze him in his tracks. Octavia grabbed his arm, her eyes wide with fear. "Bellamy, we have to go!" she pleaded.
He brushed her off and faced the oncoming danger. A polar bear burst through the foliage, its massive form charging towards him. With no time to spare, Bellamy acted on instinct, raising the unresponsive man's gun and taking aim.
The shot rang out through the forest, the echo of gunfire reverberating off the trees as the polar bear slumped to the ground, motionless.
The rest of the group rushed back to his side, confusion clouded their expressions. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before - a giant, hulking beast with razor-sharp claws and glowing red eyes.
Raven frowned, her brow furrowed in puzzlement. "Why would there be a polar bear on a tropical island?" Octavia shrugged back, shaking her head in disbelief. "I have no idea, but I don't think we want to stick around to find out.”
…
Clarke and Y/N strolled along the sun-kissed beach, the gentle lapping of waves providing a soothing backdrop to their conversation.
Clarke's shoulders relaxed as she kicked off her shoes, her toes sinking into the warm sand with each step.
"Feels good to finally unwind, doesn't it?" Clarke remarked, her voice carrying a hint of relief. "I don't think I realized how tense I was until now." Y/N nodded in agreement, her gaze drifting out to the endless expanse of ocean stretching out before them. “Definitely. I feel like this is going to be our everyday now.”
As they walked, they found themselves reminiscing about the events that led them to this remote island. "I knew Wells from before," Clarke explained, her tone tinged with sadness. "We grew up together. Our parents were friends, that sort of thing.” Y/N listened intently, a sense of understanding dawning on her.
"Maybe the crash was meant to happen," Y/N mused, her voice barely above a whisper. "Maybe we were brought here for a reason."
Clarke's brow furrowed in contemplation, her gaze lingering on the horizon. "It's certainly possible," she conceded, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "But for now, let's focus on getting everyone home safely."\
…
The mountain trail was grueling as the group embarked on the arduous climb up the mountain, each step taking all their effort. Bellamy and Murphy led the way, hacking at overgrowth to clear the way. Octavia and Lincoln followed hand in hand, while Raven brought up the rear lugging the transceiver radio.
At last they crested the summit, the valley spreading out before them in all its wild beauty. Their weary bodies pulsing with adrenaline as they beheld the breathtaking vista spread out before them.
Octavia let out an exhilarated whoop, her cry echoing off the rocky peaks as she raised her arms in victory. They had made it.
Raven wasted no time in powering on the transceiver, flicking switches and turning dials until it crackled to life. Static hissed and popped...then a voice sounded through the speaker.
But it was not English that greeted them - instead an automated French message repeated on loop. Their elation crumbled to disappointment.
"Now what?" Murphy grumbled, wiping sweat from his brow.
Raven's brow furrowed as she fiddled with the transceiver settings, trying to break through the foreign broadcast. frustration mounted as the cryptic French loop played over and over from the transceiver. She desperately tried to decipher any clues in the string of incomprehensible words.
"Octavia, can you make any sense of it?" Lincoln asked hopefully. Octavia shook her head in response, “I haven’t spoken French in 6 years, I… I cant do it.”
Lincoln who had been silent until now, reached out to squeeze Octavia's hand, “we have to try.” Octavia pursed her lips, concentrating hard on translating the antiquated dialect.
"I'm rusty, but it's saying... Please someone come. The others... they're dead. It killed them. It killed them all...'” She glanced at the others uneasily as the message repeated.
The transmission continued to loop, each iteration punctuated by the count of repeats. Raven's eyes narrowed thoughtfully as she tallied up the cycles.
Her eyes went wide when the count registered in her mind. "No, that can't be right..." she murmured. "According to the repetition, this has been broadcasting for over sixteen years!" Raven murmured in disbelief.
"What? How is that possible?" Bellamy demanded. "What the hell is going on here?"
John echoed Bellamy's frustration, his jaw clenched tight. "Well, isn't this just a fantastic turn of events," he muttered, his gaze sweeping the horizon as if expecting answers to materialize out of thin air.
"Here we are, stranded on a tropical paradise with a distress call that's been bouncing around the cosmos for over sixteen years. Just another day in paradise, huh?" His tone dripped with sarcasm, the frustration evident in every word.
"Pack it up. We're moving out," he ordered, his tone crisp and authoritative, "We need to get back to Y/N and Clarke," he continued, his voice brooking no argument.
"They need to know about this message." With a decisive nod, he motioned for the group to follow, his stride purposeful as he led them back down the mountain. In his mind, there was no time to waste.
